A sensible post from you with no wumming
I like a laugh, and wumming is just part of my make up. I can be very, very sensible when discussing most subjects, football included. This is afterall only an internet forum.
I've been saying for a long time that I fully expected the 'gap' to close up, to the point where I felt we might be overtaken and drop to 4th or even 5th...
However, I've also been saying that with our end of season run we will cement third place. We're on a difficult run, but are still in a great position for finishing third, and I wouldn't bet against us.
We could just do with Harry keeping to the basics. Bale on the left, modric in the middle etc...

Tell me about it, I go back a very long way to the days when Sir Alf Ramsay`s backpass got stuck in the mud in a semi in the 50s, with a minute to go with Spurs leading 1-0. Blackpool scored the equaliser and we lost in extra time. Season 59/60 when Spurs were in the driving seat for the title, and managed to lose two home games 1-0 in the space of 3 days over Easter to City and Chelsea and ended up losing the league by two points. Mid 80s, title was between Spurs and Everton, 14 games to play, 10 home and only 4 away with Everton to play at home we ended finished 3rd I think.
The list of Spurs shooting themselves in the foot is endless, but we still support them through thick and thin.

It was so much easier when all we were aiming for was a top half finish
Sandy, good post mate. I've just about stopped seething now. If arsenal drop points on monday, it will be less of a disaster.
I find 3 back to back losses hard to take, particularly given some of the performances but you're right, could even out over the next week or so.

I doubt Arsenal will drop points on Monday, but I would also expect them to get turned over at Goodison Park the following week like us. There luck at grabbng last minute winners cannot keep going for ever.
Good post Sandy,When put in text like that all does not seem so bad.
My main concern at the moment seems to be the lack of energy from Harry.
I want to see him get up and scream at the players like he used to.
lol. The collapse has begun
lol little potatoes panicking. where's that 13 point gap gone to?
mind the closing gap
