Steady on, the kid's very raw, he needs to bulk up and have another year on loan or playing consistently in the reserves and cup teams before we can expect a big impact. In 3 or 4 years, though, he could well be a very exciting player.
He is ready next season by the looks of how he has taken Bolton by boots strap. He also played a whole season for Feyenoord, so he is ready next season.
He is a very raw talent but imo, he should be in the squad next season. Can you imagine if he had the likes of him on the bench instead of Chamakh/Park when we were sending on subs to make an impact in that milan game?
Hmm. I think the path I'd like to see him take would be a 6 month loan to a decent side (I'd like to say Swansea but they have Dyer and Sinclair who are very similar) and then he can come back as an impact sub. I think it's a bit early for him at the moment. Still, Arsene knows much more than all of us, so whatever he decides will probably be right. We can say what we like about him, but he knows a thing or two about bringing through young players.
calm down!!! if we get as much from ryo next season as we got from ox this year i'll be happy!!!
He's very very raw.
It does make me question exactly who we will sign in the summer though with Ryo and Ox playing well.
Alan Hansen was drooling about Miyaichi on MOTD and rightly so, he also wondered why Liverpool didn't see Ryo coming
I think the preseason is key. If he can show the maturity on the pitch then I'd say loan him out until January and bring him in for the second half of the season a la Chamberlain.
Personally, I still think he's got a long way to go and getting plenty of game time at Bolton will do him a world of good compared to sitting on the bench at Arsenal.
He'll be playing Spurs next week as well so we'll see if he really has the fire to stick it to them
He looks good enough for me. remember wilshere at bolton he still looked raw and when he came back he had a good pre-season and then forced his way into the starting eleven. If he plays well for bolton he can play even better with arsenal when he has better technical players around him.
Nooo - you can't have him back!!
Actually, of course you can, and you will, so let us have another gem next season please!!
Ozyakup would be a good shout Copiers. Will add a touch of controlling class in midfield.
I think Arsenal and Bolton have a fantastic, mutually beneficial relationship in the making. I hope Ryo keeps you up
We certainly need a bit of that - i'll look him up as know very little about him.
Bolton
Sam Allardyce was the only person keeping us apart

Big Sam wasn't that bad Super - more the fact he set us up to frustrate your football !!!
Seriously though, it is an unusual get-together on the face of it. Bolton and Arsenal are hardly the most natural fit, but it does seem to work well. Long may it continue!!
Seriously though Copier, the players you could look for from us on loan include:
Miquel and Bartley-2 young decent centre backs
Yennaris- Midfielder who is also excellent at full back
Coquelin- ditto, though you'd be unlikely to get him, we want him at Arsenal as Song's back up
Frimpong- needs no intro
Coquelin- already mentioned
Lansbury- has done well everywhere he's gone. Midfielder. Look him up.
Afobe- fantastic young striker, though you may be hard pressed to get us to loan him to you
Out of all of those, I'd say Bartley and Ozyakup would be the best shouts.
I meant to put Ozyakup for "already mentioned". Now I just look like an idiot
Bartley to go back to Bolton
Miquel needs to bulk up quickly or he'll go the Pique route.
I feel sorry for Lansbury, he should've got a few more chances last season.

Very strange picture of Bartley at Rangers.
Interesting comments from some Bolton fans about Miyachi, some are not convinced about him!
Ok, I don't watch all of Bolton games, but for them to say he's not that effective is crazy!!!
