Personally I would rather start Fabianski if I was Wenger.With a new Defensive structure behind him.I still think fabianski is the better keeper.Yes, Szczesny's judgement and decision making is good for a young man but over the course of the season I think he wont be a Casillas, Fabianski has the potential to be that keeper.
IMO (whatever that means) I think we should have Lehman as no.1, and Mannone as no 2 and sell the others as we only need 2

chesney won't be like casillas but fabianski might be?
I've never heard a better argument for starting chesney.

I don't think both will have teh potential to be Casillas. but I always want to see Szczesny in the goal keeper line. I feel he is better than Fabianski. And Mannone should be second choice. I know many fellow gunners wouldn't agree with my opinion. who cares but whether u agree or not.

Fabianski is a nervous player, it's part of his make-up.
Now before he got injured, he actually did do quite well, I'll give him a fair bit of credit, because he was a running joke and he showed some character to stand up to that.
For me the guy is a decent stand-in for a good club, nothing more.
Chesney, whilst being less experienced is fearless and is only going to improve. Whilst he has the old irrational moment (that's inevitable) he's brave, great on crosses and not shy to mix it up to actually "mix it up" to claim a ball. He also is quick off his line, something Fabianski really struggles with.
Chesney could well become a world class keeper and I don't use that term lightly. Fabianski, in my humble opinion is not and never will be.
Now of course there's the argument;
"Why don't Arsenal sign a world class goalkeeper"?
Well there are probably less than double figures the amount of keepers in world football today who fall into the "world class" bracket, there's a massive short supply... And for any club to bid for a player of such ability, you're most likely talking about astronomical money, let alone taking into account the fact their club will most likely not sell the player.
Chesney all the way for me!

Oh right. I like Mannony then.
With a new Defensive structure behind him.
