And MOTM

Deserved it as well.

Did you notice he tried not to do any crosses in the air, he either knocked it back for Sagna or played it in on the ground/low most of the time.

A couple of things Ive said about him recently (and got hammered for) are that hes got a good touch at speed and plays well with Sagna providing support.

Walnut is still terrible

Pants, he created both goals. Plus a couple of sitters that team-mates missed.

Only Rosicky was close to Theo tonight.

He is better than Gervinho.

WE all said that IF Walcott plays well, we WILL get a result. He is just inconsistent.

Martin Keown and the other bloke on 5Live reckoned he should've done better when cueing up RVP/Rosicky in the second half.

Apart from that... nice one Theo.

So Walcott is world class?

He always turns up when it's important, he gets so much undeserved stick IMO.

If Van Persie scores when he wants, does that mean Walcott turns world class when he wants?

posted on 12/3/12

Rosicky definitely the MOTM but what was Wenger thinking when he took him off?

Rosicky was more effective than Gervinho who is relegating himself to bench and Ramsey looked fresh

I'm one of Walcott's biggest detractors, but he was brilliant tonight. Not in the way that some people label a great performance when I think he just uses his pace but shows little composure on the ball. Tonight, his touch, control passing and judgment was exceptional.

Couple of uh-oh moments, especially that cross into the box that was closer to the linesman, but his turning of Coloccinni for Rosicky's chance was just brilliant.

Theo, respect!

the time Walcott has good games is when there is a playmaker to feed him with through balls he's supposed to run to and not playing passes behind him. In this case we had the little mozart.

Let's see what happens at Everton, when we are totally dominant and get lots of good ball Walnut can play well (and he really played well today), but to win anything you have to also do it when your backs are against the wall and you are not being fed nice chances all the time - Walnut doesn't deliver in such circumstances.
