Totally understand the anxiety and come the transfer windows close (that's a way off) if the likes of Fab, Nasri etc have been shipped out and no adequate replacements brought in, then I myself will be livid.

That said, it's getting near impossible for a club to compete at the top level without a sugardaddy pulling the strings, which most Arsenal fans would detest. A self-sustaining football club operating at the top end of the game is a rare, rare thing...

Thought that with these financial regulations that UEFA were bringing in with regards to European qualification that things would calm down and spending would get a bit more sensible.
Hasn't particularly happened and we seem to be having more teams throughout Europe, like PSG and Malaga, suddenly getting insane backing.
I really do wonder if these regulations will be thoroughly enforced.

Me too, where there's a will, there's a way. The likes of Abramovich and the Sheiks at Eastlands will already be on the case about this. In principal the new ruling will be great for the game, but I'm not sure exactly how they'll go about implicating these guidelines!
Bottom line as good as fabregas and nasri are we have not won anything with them in the team so we can't be any worse off without them!

That is the most ridiculous logic I've ever seen, even if the point you're trying to make with it is slightly valid. According to that rule, every team should just sell their best players when they're not one of the maximum 4 british teams that can win a trophy each year...
Ocelots my point is a change in direction and a severe shake up could be exactly what we need even though it seems like a step back. I would much prefer to keep them both and add quality but a long drawn out saga would be worse for us than letting them go as would letting nasri go on a free in a year. Man United haven't done badly since letting Tevez and Ronaldo go they have changed their style become very efficient and successful.

I just want our current board to be more decisive, and act now as opposed to waiting and waiting, letting contracts like nasris and clichy's run down to the last year, taking 1 million years to make a transfer. I am very much a supporter of the current self sustainable model and wengers philosophy but wengers youth and attacking play needs some experience to learn from and we are going to have to buy that. Otherwise next year will be the same as this
