Here Hee. Have you noticed. Its started already. The concerted clamour for Gerrard to be Englands Captain. He is not even a cert to be picked for England. Its marvellous how quicklythey forget the absolute trash performance, with missed penalties, shots over the stand and hitting the corner flag or going out for throw ins, that he has produced over the last few weeks.
Admittedly we were poor last night but we will get better.
They will undoubtedly revert to type very quickly.
Gerrard had a good game but no way would I have him anywhere near the armband. I imagine that his performance last night will be the last like that for time.

Of course he is a certainty to start for England.
Gerrard played well last night lads and I'm sure will play well again. He has always been a good player, not sure he is a cert to get picked in the starting line up for England every game though given his recent injury record so not sure making him captain is the right move. I would much prefer to see the armband given to whoever is going to exert the most influence on the team on the day. Don't understand the fascination in having to name an England captain as it means they can't be dropped even if playing badly.
As said above - the priority is clearly the cup looking at team selection so I'll be absolutely gutted if we don't win on Saturday. Three soft goals last night - we can't defend that badly again surely.

hahaha, so we will revert to type whereas you will get better! im curious....this type is obviously better than you so how can you be happy with performances that are below our "type"?
The problem is that you fools build yourselves up as soon as you get a few wins and convince yourselves you have the better team. FIOS!
Why can`t Everton beat Liverpool?
Any ideas, Crispy?
I didn't think Liverpool were that good to be honest.
Just Everton were absolute pants
yes. I agree we were absolute rubbish and, to be honest, you were not that much better. A very poor Derby matc and not worth the Admission fee for those who could afford to go and, most importantly, take their children, possibly for the very first time. I hope that they dont mature to think that it represented our famous full blooded games of the past.

so i wonder why you thought it was a poor match?
The truth is, moyes bottled it big time and decided to raise the white flag from the start.
We will revert to type and continue to be better than you. you will improve and still win nothing.
Another 10 years of moyes please...no wins at anfield, old trafford, emirates or stamford bridge...great manager
No wins at SB?
You need to improve your research fella!
when did you last win a league game at stamford bridge then??
Oh now you are onto league wins....
Make it clear will you
so im guessing you havent won at stamford bridge since 1994 in the league??
As i said...another 10 years of moyes please and a lifetime of blue bill and his pantos!
everton were poor and liverpool definitley were the better side and fully deserved too win,but since the turn of the year liverpool have played 9 premier league games and taken 8 points . 8 from 27!!! now the iq of most reds on this comfort blanket of the old bbc 606 is lower than most, but think about it eh.why do liverpool raise their game and play like they did in the derby yet still struggle against other teams
They never have an answer when it calls for use of the old Grey Matter. Reason! Simple. They do not have any.....

Liverpools game has been raised most of the season, but they have struggled to put away the countless chances they have created.
Luckily for us, three of the chances we created on Tuesday, fell to our best player.
