Mavado, Beenie man, Vybz mainly
Beenie, Spragga and Cham are the ones I listen to most.
Like the old stuff like Eek-a-mouse, Yellowman and Cutty Ranks as much as the modern dancehall stuff...

DJ...looking through your top 10 as ever there is debate but you seem a man to go on originality and rawness over a smooth concept of an album. I would have Stillmatic over Illmatic for example. Good list though.
What are peoples albums atm? I really am Struggling to find good Hip Hop music nowadays.

you seem a man to go on originality and rawness over a smooth concept of an album
============
I tend to like "hard" lyrics and quite stripped down beats. Simple, straight forward hip-hop I guess.
But at the same time I would say The Chronic, Predator (LA Riots), Only Built (mafioso) and ATLiens (other world/mythology) are all concept heavy albums.

Currently I am a bit heavily swayed by Black Hippy. Oxymoron by ScHoolboy Q is, for me, a great new album.
Joey Bada$$'s Summer Knights is quality, waiting impatiently for a full album by him (reminds me of early Nas)
Also heavily into the Army Of Pharaohs and all the solo projects/sub groups. Demigodz, 7L and Estoric (under the name Czarface with Inspectah Deck), Vinnie Paz and R.A. the Rugged Man all had good albums out last year.
Other new ones worth checking out, but I am not 100% sold on, are Isaiah Rashad, Danny Brown, Action Bronson, A$AP Mob and YG.

Been listening to Mos Def's black on both sides. Good album
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Will have to listen. It's probably been a decade since I've listened to mos def intact I use to listen to him, common, slug village but then 50, aftermath etc took over and nobody else could get on.
Not sure on Hopsin, tbh. Like his mate Dizzy Wright, but for some reason I have found it hard to get into Hopsin.
I have always got music on. When I go out, the iPod goes on. In the shower and the music is playing. Get a train, and the iPod is on. Watching football that is a bit dull, music goes on. Walk down the pub, listen to music. Even at work i sometimes sneak a 12 hour session of listening to my iPod.

I actually prefer Manifesto. The Champion
Neither come close, imo, to the Czarface album though.
Deck is probably my favourite on the Wu group albums.
Freddie Gibbs and Madlib - Pinata is definitely worth a listen, one of the best albums I've heard in a while.
Homeboy Sandman - White Sands isn't bad either.
Is Ghostface killer the strongest wu tang rapper DJ?
