Basically DJ, the album was just what I've come to expect from Nas. He just cant put a album together.
This certainly isnt close to Stillmatic, let alone It Was Written and Illmatic.
It Was Written is one of his worst, imo. Down there with the Firm album.
It Was Written was great. It did have a couple of awful songs but they were well dominated by the fantastic songs.
I really liked Untitled too actually.
For me it is a very forgettable album. Can only think of If I Ruled The World, Street Dreams and Affirmative Action from it. Oh, and the one Dre produced.

With Nas (if you ignore Illmatic) you could probably make 2 very good albums of 12 songs each out of his whole post Illmatic career. And even then you would probably have to dip into his guest appearances on the likes of Mobb Deep and Raekwons albums.
Take It In Blood too is a great song.
And the prem song was - I gave you power.
Fully agree. Extremely good rapper but my god, his albums are pretty terrible.
