....After todays performance surely now Hill cannot keep trotting out the usual excuses.

Try telling that to Spart and his follwer Ostriches with their heads in the sand........Or even those 3 wise monkeys..... See No Evil Hear No Evil Speak No Evil
Is it the three wise monkeys who need a reality check ?
What really gets at me is the fact that we have conceded 3 or more goals in 7 home games this season (one was the cup game against Swansea) and have only won eight games. I'm sorry but when you pay for a season ticket you, maybe wrongly, expect a little more.
We are now a league one club with league one players waiting for the hammer to fall, be it this season or next.
Confucius says...
Better to have head in sand than head up own ar$e..
The unamed one has surfaced,, or are you just a prisoner number.
Nobody were moaning after our spirited first half display and we applauded the players off.
Nobody were moaning at McNulty as Shacks
replacement as we built up the points pre Christmas.
Since then we have lost 6 experienced players,
What other team in this division has had this to cope with.
KH has tried to bring in replacements with potential quality, it's just that these players need time to settle in and acquire fitness. KH has asked for patience from the fans, so give him it and let the bigger picture
evolve.
We have just had a run of fixtures against form teams, with established squads and all their players up to full fitness, and being realistic did not expect to win, but the heart and mind thought we could.
Dagnall it seems has been loaned out to regain some confidence, or maybe to maybe recoup a bit of cash.
With the introduction of the Financial Fair Play rules soon it's important we get a squad that we can afford.
Gone are the days of expensive players at BFC.
How's the attendance stats showing Mr U number,
I would say that our core support is still holding up despite the recent bad run.
I suggest you read the John Dennis book about his time as a Barnsley fan, and Chairman. It will give you a better view of the goings on at Oakwell.
Hoping for good results at Palace, and v Peterborough.
C'mon you Redddzz
so... where exactly is yours Spart...????
Three wise monkeys.... on this board we have the two stupid WUMs: Hear no sense (Uboat who runs a mile when someone comes up with a reasonable argument)and write no sense (Plank....name says it all really)
Can any of the three wise monkeys explain the long term plan, is it planning for the Championship or the lower leagues?
When we're in League One we may be financially viable but you don't get points awarded for that.
We may be financially stable but on the field we're bankrupt.
We spent 100K on Dagnall and if he was put up for sale tommorow he wouldn't raise 1K.
When Butterfield has gone there isn't a contracted player in the squad who would raise a six figure fee.
.....So you would rather see us bankrupt financially as a club instead then Uboat?
Honestly do you not remember when we were in admin
Save your breath Bison...the bloke's an idiot.
U hoo, who are you.
If you had taken note earlier this season regarding how KH hoped things would progress this year, building a nucleus of next years team, hopefully without too many loan players.
But plan A got scuppered when Brown took out Jacobs knee.
Get thi sen Barnsley Player and listen CAREFULLY to what Keefy has to say, then you would have had an idea of his Psyche and his plan to keep us competitive in the Championship.
Six figure players, how about Digby for a start, he's Gunnar be a seven figure player soon.
Under the new legislation young players will be able to leave for peanuts, wait and see what the compensation fee for Butterfield will be.
I've got Barnsley Player and I've listened to what "Keefy" has said and obviously his "Psyche" has worked on you. His plan to keep us competitive in the Championship I cannot yet grasp because it seems that if the opposing team has a bigger wage bill we can't be expected to win. What a dull world if this was the norm.
I seem to recall him saying "Clean sheets are king" yet I can't remember many of those.
I remember he said "The goal difference will be addressed" now 5 worse off. Also 4 points less.
Did he also mention "There will be no second half of the season fade out"?
If plan A got scuppered with Jacobs injury what was plan B ?
Could it be to criticise the fans for not being realistic and not knowing their place in the grand order of things.
I criticised Rowing earlier in the season over the ticket prices and he has admitted he got it wrong and next seasons matches will not be catagorised.
He got it wrong in the cup run ticket allocation and he's got it wrong with next seasons ticket pricing. When next seasons ticket sales fall the price should not increase.
The way to increase sales is to show the stay away fans a little ambition and hope.
Did Cryne not say last year "You can't go on doing the same things each season and expect to improve."
Exactly which part of 'Financial Fair Play rules' are U-bend and thick as a **** struggling with. By ambition you mean spend money we don't have in the hope everything goes well and we get success? Maybe 10 years ago you could. It worked a treat at Leeds. Now you cannot, firstly because you would be breaking the rules of the league, durrr, and second (and here's where you really need to pay attention) we don't have any money and banks aren't lending any to good businesses never mind football clubs.
Here's an idea, go away and earn or make 50 odd million pounds of YOUR OWN money and then come back and GIVE it to the club to be ambitious with. Then, when it's all gone and nothing much has changed except the cars in the players car park are nicer, you'll have something to whine about.

Dear lord Uboat you want to follow a team that can afford to spend a shedload of money and not worry about FFP then go follow Man Utd or City, they will find some way to get out of it when it eventually hits the Premiership.
Also (Correct me if I am wrong on this) the Elite Player Performance Plan due to be introduced next year means that clubs can buy youth players for a set fee but this is only players aged 18 and under. Isn't Butterfield 21? (And also he's out of contract soon so we will lose him for nothing if he decides to go anyway)
I seem to recall him saying "Clean sheets are king"

Wasn't that Sade...
Sparty (Sade) is such a Smooth Operator
The cheeky wise monkey.
Clubs can claim compensation for home reared players up to the age of 24.
We will get a tribunal agreed fee for Butts, it will be slightly less than a transfer market valuation that was being talked of before his injury.
I think that now that Digby has signed a Pro contract, he will be exempt from the EPPP, the Premier Poaching Plan.
U Tube
You criticised Mr Rowing about ticket prices, but it was me that stated to you that the club was ditching the category system. Leave DR out of this debate.
Your article was about the team in Freefall and Stagnating.
If your car engine had a half its engine ripped out, and you have little money to repair it properley till June, what would YOU do ?
Kinn, we all know that Uboat uses public transport: not because he can't afford a car or anything he just enjoys the idea of having something to moan about every morning
Oh I don't know..I imagine him as road rage personified...
I bet it was him that had that canal boat, done out like a U-boat.
I'll check Worsboro Basin and Wakey Marina, Spartacus, can thar check Victoria Quays and Tinsley Basin.
Let's sink the so and so
And then there were four wise monkeys.
Would all the sycophants of smartacus please stop ganging up on u and plank, they make some valid points from what i can see although the odd positive opinion would be appreciated!
Oh lordy...he's got a brother...

"although the odd positive opinion would be appreciated!"

That's the prob...check their posts throughout the season...moan, moan gripe and moan...and no grasp of reality...
aggh U's let his mum join.....
seriously though U the second (13255- please add a username) I will give old Uboat a compliment when I think he deserves it, a couple of times now I have replied to his drivel with a long (and what I think detailed) reply only to see him not reply and disappear from this forum until our next loss.
I do get a little wound up when it comes to Uboat as he seems to think that Barnsley should spend a shedload of money (Which we dont have) and make it to the promised land of the Premiership. In dreamland or the land of Football Manager this can happen but in reality we are a club that cannot afford to do that.
Dang it Sparty, you beat me to it.
I would add username if i knew how (please advise)
As for my views on club finances manager etc, not bothered i just focus on the players in red shirts who are currently representing our club & town. Hills oreyt he just needs to realise its not about him its about the club, you & me.
