Pastore or Modric

Probably Modric, because Pastore doesn't fit into a 4-3-3

Have to agree with Kenyan, if we're going with 4-3-3 then Modric

Must admit though that for a serial selling club the Spudlings are proving unusually persistent here

I would say modric as well as his style of play is like Xavi's. He will be spraying the passes in the middle of midfield and will assist the assisters. I think he is worth £35million and i think pastore is no way worth more than £30. The price being stated for pastore is ridiculous.

Modric ..... he's a very special type of player, a playmaker in BOTH halfs + he's PL proven.

They Play in different positions.

Pastore doesn't fit into a 4-3-3
He play's in a 4-3-2-1 formation for Palermo which would mean he can play in a 4-3-3, but he would play on the left I would expect (in our team) coming inside.

i would go 4 modric.pastore isnt warth 40 mil.we know what we can expect from modric.i would pay 25 mil for him plus offer kalou on the top.kalou is on 80 grand p/w so we can let kalou go plus add 20-30 grand we can sigh modric and give him 110 000 p/w.ham have no chance match our offer.

Pastore isn't worth £40m guys. He seems to have a lazy aura around him

I'm a Modric kind of a guy. I like his commitment and energy to go with his vision and penetration. Mmm, that's a nice word.

I´d rather sign Moutinho for significantly less than the ridiculous money Spurs want for Modric.

Yes I like Modric, yes he´s a good player but not for the big money being touted.

Modric doesn´t score that many goals and he doesn´t get that many assists either for a so-called creative midfielder.

Villas-Boas knows Moutinho and he knows how to get the best out of him.

Moutinho wouldn't be any cheaper mate, Porto apparently looking for £62 million for him and Falcao

I think Porto want 35.5 million for Moutinho. I wouldn't mind which really, just one year between them both and similar players, and both around the same price.

It sounds like Porto are digging their heels in after losing Villas-Boas.

Shame as Moutinho and Falcao would be a great package and would certainly add something to Chelsea FC.

Pastore.

i say pastore.
italian league is very defensive and he has become a star by unlocking them. that is exactly what we troble with. we can dominate but not unlock.

He is also quite big and tall for his type position so would adapt tro prem well! coul certainly play in 433 as the attacking mid along side say ramires and essien

Pastore for me.

younger, scores goals (the one big miss from Modric's CV)

paying £45m for Pastore is a huge risk as he's unproven in the PL. At least if we sign Modric we know we're getting one of the best creative midfielders in the prem.
