A Strange Weekend!

On Tuesday Rovers face Sunderland who drew with Everton.

On Saturday they are due to face Wanderers. It's a vital match for both teams but will now have a strange atmosphere. Despite respect for Muamba, both teams will still have to play for a win.

With regards to the relegation battle, it is now safe to assume that Wolves and Wigan are certain to drop, can't see either side winning another game.

Wolves got hammered

Wigan didn't win again despite arguably being the better team

Stoke got knocked out of cup so an now concentrate on league where they have to play, Bolton, QPR, Wigan and Wolves

Goes without saying that it all pales in signifigance to Muamba though

I'm getting a bit concerned about the exact nature of your relationship with this dog Star

I'm also getting a bit concerned by just how bad Wolves are under Connor. Despite it looking faintly ridiculous, they might be forced to sack him as well and then muster a revival under the new man.

Wouldn't write Wigan off either yet. Only 3 points behind us and they can play when they're in the mood.

But B&WH, looking at the fixtures:

Wigan:

Liverpool away
Stoke home
Chelsea away
Man Utd home
Arsenal away
Fulham away
Newcastle home
Blackburn away
Wolves home

Possibility of getting a point or two at home to Stoke and Newcastle and probably beating Wolves, but they will lose everything else.

Wolves have had it and QPR have a worse run in that Wigan!

I'd add Fulham and us onto that list.

Capable of getting a draw at Liverpool as well (although this seems to apply to every team in the league)

How very dare you

Personally I think that would be too little to late. I think that ourselves and Bolton will be 6+ points clear as we come in to the last few rounds of fixtures.

Nothing wrong guys!Rover just likes the odd sip of beer(lager)and when I buy an ice cream he gets a little bit also,so apart from the chocolate digestives(one in the evening) and the small saucer of coffee and marmalade on toast in the morning hes a normal dog.

Now to footy, its gonna be a strange game indeed when we play our local derby.I hope the lad gets better but on the pitch we must get something from this game, our whole season depends on these next few games.

Game against Bolton might not go ahead this weekend.

Also with the sacking of Gary Simpson by Macclesfield, Kean moved upto number 35 in the list of longest serving managers currently managing a club. Well done to him...

Everything seems to be going Rovers' way just now. Dunn and Orr are fit again, so Kean has a full squad to choose from.

With the sole exception of Grella. Shame.

Who is this Grella person you speak of?

Is he a potential signing - is he any good

There are also a few early managers missing off that list according to other sources:

Thomas Mitchell:1884–1896
Joseph Warmsley: 1896–1903
Robert Middleton: 1903–1925

They aren't on the Rovers website for some reason.

Rover has just finished his chocolate digestive off and his coffee. He his now asleep in his doggie basket.

Chocolate isn't good for dogs!

In small doses it is not bad.same with beer and ice cream but I spoil him and Rover is not overweight or anything.Mostly I break a piece off, or a couple of teaspoons of beer.So he gets nothing in excess, hes just a happy Rover.
