In the interests of self-preservation, I think Wenger will spend it and spend it hard. I'm sure he won't rush in, but I think he'll have that enough money to secure previously unattainable targets.
That's what my heart says.
My head cries a combination of 3/4, and a little bit of 1.
I hate pre season
By the way, why do sky sports always wheel out the sky sports news understands guff?
Just how many fingers do they have in the football pie or do they just trawl the internet for made up gubbins that look interesting
Sky Sports News understands simple geometrical shapes.
I think he will spend all of it, maybe one marquee signing (Benzema, Mata) and then some of the lower tier players (Samba, Enrique, Gervinho) will come too.
I have to say that even if we do make some quality signings this Summer I would be pessimistic about our top 4 chances next season. Pre season starts in a few days and we have not made any signings yet and look set to be losing our best players on top of that. Losing Nasri and Clichy will be blows IMO, but blows we can recover from. Losing Cesc however will be disastrous and regardless of who we sign I don't see us finishing top 4.
I no longer subscribe to SSN as the mere excitement of the transfer window countdown was too much for this mere mortal to bear.
Also, repetition.
I'm watching it now. All they are talking about is Clichy and Nasri joining the Mancs. Shut up! SHUT UP I DON'T WANT TO KNOW ABOUT IT
Did you see the bloke interviewing the man city fans, it was like us chatting on a forum or some people down the pubs.
The reporter was going "Oh did you hear that you might be signing nasri"
That's the only thing that hasn't kept me from losing the plot. That we are all getting worked up about "Sky Sources". My neighbour's peg legged deaf in one ear pet dog is more reliable than Sky.
