We havent beaten you in two years No Ballack, Essien horribly slow, Lampard the same so we dont dominate midfields anymore. Ramires our best midfielder

We sold him for £2m and he's more prolific than Torres
First things first, don't forget when the players actually vote for their player of the season (Dec/Jan), so I'm pretty certain the winner will be SIlva, possibly RVP.
My team would be;
Krul
Richards Kompany King Enrique
Valencia Brittain Parker Silva
RVP Rooney
People may ask why King, well he has been brilliant for Spurs, and their record with him in the side is much better than without him.
Leon Brittain has been fantastic for Swansea, and is a big part of how they play their football.
Can't believe so few people saying united to win the league. It may be premature, but as soon as we got ahead i thought it was nailed on. Regards team of the season, mine would be;
Vorm
Richards Evans Kompany Enrique
Valencia Silva Yaya Bale
RVP Rooney.
May be biased towards United and City, but these have been the best teams. People will disagree with Rooney being in there, but he has been fantastic in the premier league - carrying us at times, same goes with evans.
Player of the season - RVP without a shadow of a doubt.
Young player - Krul.
Forgot about Britton.....He's been awesome as well.
Have to rethink my team
I bet Arsenal are gutted they got rid of Brittan, considering they have to play Rosicky so often these days in all seriousness, he is a great little player.
I did put Evans in to begin with, but I couldn't be bothered with the 'Evans is pants' brigade. I'd also put YaYa in for Parker thinking about it.
Very fair article. I'd have Enrique in who has been very solid.
Not on the Scholes bandwagon I'm afraid. Joined late in teh season. Does not play 90mins very often at all. Had some very poor games when he returned. Had one or two excellent games against weakened opposition.
I think there are other CM's who have done a lot more.

"Had some very poor games when he returned."
Tell me a very poor game he has had since his return, apart from at Spurs.
His first two games back he was awful. Can't remember who they were against.
I also don't think you can give player of the season to someone who has not played a full season and cannot do 90 mins.
He's played 8 league games only. Can'yt give player of the season to that in my opinion.
Where is Song in the team of the season ?

Joker!
I think Cabayae and Tiote have had excellent seasons.
Gerrard has done really well since coming back. Excellent against Stoke and the bitters. If he can kick on for the last 10 games you never know!

I don't think he should be player of the season for a second, I agree with you on that. But you obviously don't watch Man Utd, at least without your scouse specs on, because since he has been back, we have been far better thanks to his passing and control in midfield.

Don't get me wrong - I do agree.
