I fancy Chelsea to win tomorrow. Not so sure we can beat them at the Emirates, still a few weeks away so better off making predictions then.
I think that Chelsea could well get a point tomorrow and that Arsenal will at least get a point - probably all three.
If that is the case then I expect that title to be all but over by the time we go to their place. It would be nice to be at least 4 points ahead. With them needing to win we could sit back and hit them on the break.
Of course, I am probably completely wrong and we will go into the game needing to win. That is the beauty of football.
I wouldn't bet my house Man United getting a result at Ewood Park though. If memory serves me well, last time we won there was 08-09, when Ronaldo was in the team.
I'm hoping Chelsea and Man City can take at least 4 points of them in total.
The league is over. As soon as we got ahead i think it was true. City will start dropping regular points, as they have been doing over the previous weeks. We are in winning form, and we won't drop the silly points i don't feel.
Seriously don't get ahead of yourselves it's not over !!
Sunderland away last game of season could ruin our season !!
No such thing as easy games, however we are now in great position !
Need to take one game at time I suppose, certainly is not over though (we aren't City fans)
It's not over, but we're not far from having to throw it away and I can't see both Manchester clubs doing that this season
To say the season is over is just a delusion. There are a potential banana skins for City and us. However, we are in a great position.
if kompany is not back then favourable results are possible.
How long is Kompany out for ???
It's amazing how vulnerable are without Kompany. He's a fantastic defender, but his absence should not be this detrimental to a power-machine City.
There are no easy games, or an easy run-in. We may have a point lead, but it makes no difference, and they have a higher goal difference, which in itself is a point.
How City come through after playing Chelsea and Arsenal will show what they are made off and their nerves. Right now the derby game could mean nothing, or everything. Of course, this works both ways, as we have some tricky games before the derby too.
if only City could lose tommorow or at the Emirates then if we win our games leading up to the derby we could win the league there
Chelsea seem to playing a bit better now AVB has gone and could get a point tomorrow night. Going to the Emirates won't be easy for City and think Arsenal could get all three points.
I think Utd will need a decent lead at the top going into the City game, because I can only see a City win I'm afraid.
But there's really little point making predictions the way this season is going!
I can see us winning our next 5 games, the derby won't be that significant we will need 1 point to clinch it in the home game against Swansea. The presentation will take place that very afternoon.
Don't forget they have to go to Stoke at the weekend. Another potential banana skin for them.
Sunderland away last game isn't as bad as it looks, mid table teams are always the best teams to play last game of the season as they have pretty much nothing to play for.
Anything can happen but our games leading up to the City game do look good, however we have been complacent so many times this season you can just see us dropping points against a useless team like we did 2 seasons ago away to Blackburn.
City's next 4 games are massive, if they can get through those with 10 points then anything can happen, anything less and it's ours to lose.
The Etihad has been a fortress this season in the PL for City. Can't see anyhting but a City win tomorrow
You never know though. With Silva not at his best and Kompany missing too, Chelsea may fancy getting something
A time for Torres to hit some kinda form please!!
As for the run in. we should be favourites now to win it.
In terms of the City game. we shouldn't be scared
We have outplayed city this season for the most part aside from the second half at OT and the second half at the Etihad in the cup when we totally took the foot off the gas with them being down to 10 men. The CS we outplayed then both halves in truth and their 2-0 HT lead was totally against the run of play
If we need to beat Sunderland away to lift the trophy, I would expect us too playing at a 'cup final' level
i think what is more likely to happen is points are dropped where we least expect it from united. It's always done the hard way, but i expect united to need a draw at the etihad followed by two wins and I think we will do just that.
City with some other tough games though, still to play norwich and stoke which can be stubborn to break down.
United with everton, villa, qpr and sunderland on the final day.
its a cracker this year, hell of an achievement if we do it.
