theo......are you suggesting Madge is interested in bringing O'Loughlin to South's....
As for Finch......he has never been a jack in the box half, he has always been a structered half in my opinion, organising the forwards for a few hit-ups then out the back with a clever kick on the 5th-6th tackle..other then on the try line I can't recall Finch putting a chip over the top for himself or an out-side man before.
The No.7 under Madge at South's is only a youngster last week was his 3rd game at the top level and he (Reynolds) has a reputation of being a slippery customer and showed signs of it last week but I hope Madge doesn't halt his natural ability in order to play more structured...I like the cheeky little blokes with some character about them...
Souths, there has been a lot of talk on the forums,(and some tweeted by Journalists)that a well known player with a Lancashire club will be heading to the NRL next season.
Some said this was connected to Morley having said he fancies a last go at the NRL.
But others who say they are in the know (we allways have fans who say they get all the info) say it is a different player.
And this was brought to the boil again with Madges vidio tribute.
The comments below are by a fan who was at the dinner.
"Madge was sort of hinting at Lockers heading over to Oz in his video message on Tuesday night. Showing him the view and saying things like 'it's a long flight, but it's worth it' as seemingly his wife is scared of flying".
The mystery is compounded by the knowledge that O'Loughlins contract is up in October.
Maybe agents at work here. Cheers.
Yes, the agents certainly know how to work the system....
Manly after winning the comp in 2011 are finding it difficult to hold onto it's star players (as every grand final winner does)
They have got their halves on very cheap contracts for 2 years because they just came from know where to super stars literally over night.
Young Cherry-Evans is on 50,00-pounds per season......the No.7 that guided his big forwards around the park and created most of the Manly attack.....Manly said they can't up-grade his contract until it expires because of lack of funds.
This has been going on since last Sept. until finally the players manager drafted a release from contract letter and had 6 clubs willing to pay him what he deserves........well what do you know...Manly very quickly found 280,000-pound over 2 years to keep Cherry-Evans at Brookvale..
