"The cracks have already started to appear. He will be shown the door soon enough. Another one that Fergie will have seen off."
Ah, that's where we're going wrong, we're letting Fergie dictate when our managers get the sack. And there was me thinking he had enough to do managing his own team...
It was interesting to listen to Rod Marsh on Five live this morning.
He said that Mancini would be sacked if he played Carlos and then didn't win the league. I still think Bobby will be there next year league title or not, but Marsh had an interesting point

I think he has to say we will win even if he doesn't believe it. Has any manager ever said they wont win it with 10 games to go and 1 point off the top.
-------------------------
SAF always says 'We have a chance'
It's almost a cliche of his
If SAF said now we will win the title and deserve it, desoite lying second, he would be slated in the media for arrogance.
I sometimes wonder if it's the language barrier with Mancini and he says things he doesn;t actually mean
I was gobsmacked when he said City lost to Sporting because he thought it would have been easier
Marsh is a clown and flattered to deceive when he played for us too. The owners will not sack Mancini for playing Tevez if they don't win the title, thats just patent nonsense. I am staggered as to why you think that he has a "good point". The manager makes the team decisions and the owners respect that up to a point and his record is not bad enough to warrant sacking yet so calm down ladies.
If the owners didn't want Tevez to play for us again they would have terminated his contract instead of letting him force his way back in to what was a happy squad.
If only we could win important penalties against Chelsea.
I love Rodney but his head's full of birdshit at times.

Hey Boris
Do you think there is still a chance him coming back could cause disharmony?
I'm thinking in relation to a Balotelli or Dzeko sitting on the bench watching Tevez playing or actually being subbed off so Tevez can get on?
If I was one of those two, knowing I had played my part in City challenging for the title, only to find myself on the bench again watching Tevez, someone who selfishly did the opposite and hindered City's season, play instead, I doubt I'd be smiling that much
i believe his attitude is back where it should be but I'm not sure it's still an ideal situation for the club, or the fans for that matter.
One thing for sure though, I know you like to blame refs and such Boris but if City do just miss out this season, I think I know where the majority of City fans will be pointing their fingers.
Balotelli is a liability and Dzeko went off the boil as soon as Tevez did one back to South America so I can't see that being an issue.

Sometimes its obvious he struggles with the language barrier but i dont think this can be used as an excuse this time and the sporting interview.

------------------------------
I'm not so sure
time will tell I guess
This isn't the first time he's said this though is it? I remember an interview just after christmas when he said something like "we'll get enough points to win this league i'm sure".
"Balotelli is a liability and Dzeko went off the boil as soon as Tevez did one back to South America so I can't see that being an issue."
Strictly speaking, Dzeko went off the boil after Bobby inexplicably decided to rotate him once he became the league's highest goalscorer. Very strange decision. But without anyone else to keep him out of a place, he's never going to think, "Hold on, I'd best up my game a bit here."
If Balo and Dzeko get the hump at being subbed by Tevez, perhaps they'd be better off wondering how they could make sure it doesn't happen again, instead of sulking about it.
And I meant "subbed FOR Tevez". Like he's going to be making the decision
If only we could win important penalties against Chelsea.

Does this always work?
In that case I would like us to win an important penalty against Man City in the league game.

----------------------
Or maybe they could both go on strike for 6 months just because they were pi55ed with the manager
Or is it only Tevez that is afforded that particular perk
