Got to agree, old chap, especially as I would have taken a draw at Nottingham beforehand - did expect you to beat Walsall though, so that's a bonus...

It's going to go down to the final day, best season for years.

It may come down to goal difference & with Town, Sheff U & Mk on +32, that might cost you boys.

Tell me about it, I thought to myself earlier that its typlical that we are in 3rd yet we have the worst GD in the top 5 as well as the porkys breing back on form (spit, spit), 4th placed, being yourselves, having a far superior GD, three points behind and a game in hand (steam), like DJ has said, and sorry for yet another "Cladge-ism" btw, all we need to do is keep getting the resullts and try not to think about the teams around us.

Last night was disappointing and perhaps an anti climax to a good couple of days, but let's not get too downbeat.

In effect very little has changed, because yes had we won we'd be level with that lot but still in third and their goal difference is as good as another point in the bag already.

Huddersfield are the ones we need to watch and I'll be keeping my ticket for that game under lock and key as that game could well be an epic, certainly if part one wad anything to go by it will be.

This will go down to the wire. That lot have Milton Keynes away and then Stevenage at home at the end and finish off away at an Exeter side who may well need to win to stay up.

We face Brentford away who are still in with a shout of the play off's and then a resurgent Wycombe at home on the final day where both teams will be fighting for something. Nails will be bitten.

Huddersfield v Charlton is a difficult one to call. A draw would be good as would a Huddersfield win for thk
ose amongst us bonkers enough to think we can still sneak top spot. I for one reckon and hope Charlton do the business.

All we can do now is worry about us and que sera sera....

Up the owls!!!!

Michael, with the greatest respect, the one phrase you cannot use about Division 1 is "formguide".

By the by, five minutes of extra time for your goal last night, how much does a referee cost these days?

Hopefully not as much as a good defence lawyer for the main reason you're where you are!!!!

Our defence doesn't need a lawyer - most days it needs divine intervention. The chappie next to me keeps saying "Oh God, they're at it again".

Not panicking Mike just stating that its typical that we are the ones who are most disadvantaged if you like in terms of GD which could go against us which i'll admit I find fustrating, but like I said in the main article there are still 8 games left (9 for the Udders I know Tez) and its too early to panic just yet.

It be nice if charlton go into administration an lose 10 points an all three Yorkshire clubs go up. It be nice.

Before last night's game we were talking in the boozer and agreed that the game would be a test as to where we were.In the past we have fell flat on our face when we've been in a good position to take advantage and move up the table(admittedly,if we'd won, then we'd have still been in third spot).I think we fell slightly, but we did not lose, which is an improvement.Chances galore again and not enough taken, our major problem throughout the season and one which will seriously jepordise our chances of automatic promotion.Still,we are hanging on in there and,as many folk are saying,it may well go down to the wire. This season will go down as one of the most exciting finishes to a league for years, certainly more so than the boring Premiere!I'm like a fifteen year old again.
Anyway, here's hoping we can still do it.Every game is like a cup tie and every Monday i can't wait for Saturday.

Walsall has had decent form of late and is defo showing the spirit it takes to keep in this league. A point shared with such a team is no disgrace.....and the stats show we could well have won had the Gods been with us on the night. No need to push the panic button!

Our defence have always been dodgy since the 90's but I think we WILL get promoted
