Put the boot in and be strong as it will come our way and we must stand upto it.
IF, and it's a big IF, our players are not trembling at the sight of 43,000 wee union jacks being waved.
Then we should win. I imagine losing the cup should eradicate any complacency that was kicking about.
I hope we play like we did first half at Tynecastle which, let's face it, is a more intimidating venue than Ibrox these days.
I would play Samaras up front on his own and try to dominate the midfield, that's partly because I'm the type that would settle for a draw.
If it's 4-4-2 I would have Sammy up front with either Stokes or Hooper, not in midfield.

The players have the best opportunity that they could ever hope for, to make up to the fans for last Sunday.
I'd go 4-4-2.
Forster
Matthews
Rogne
Mulgrew
Izzaguire
Brown
Ledley
Wanyama
Samaras
Hooper
Stokes
If Hooper and Stokes don't have their fingers out, pop Commons on and move Samaras up top.
I would go with:
Forster
Matthews
Rogne
Mulgrew
Ledley
Forrest
Brown
Wanyama
Ki
Commons
Samaras
I wouldn't drop Hooper. He knows how to score against Rangers.
I would drop Stokes. Play Samaras up front.
Mulgrew left back, Victor and Rogne with Matthews.
Ledley left, Brown and Ki, Forrest.
I think like most i would be going with Mulgrew at CB and Wanyama in the middle.
I would also only go with Samaras up top alone if Forrest is fit as we dont really have that many wingers that are fast enough to support a lone striker and go past them as they hold the ball up.
A middle 3 may be an idea with Wanyama, Brown and Ki being the probable preferred choice...
some say the devil is dead the devil is dead the devil is dead
Forster
Matthews
Rogne
Mulgrew
Ledley
Forrest
Brown
Wanyama
Ki

Samaras

Whhiiittt? I picked my ticket up at the club last night, everyone already buzzing after the letdown on sunday. Mine is Broomloan rear though, wanted a front. Anybody with a front that wants to swap for a rear then geez a shout.
Hooper is good enough to play for England, you know.
Lads there is no chance Stokes will play from the start, Lennon can't trust him in a old firm and to be honest I think Big Sammy is the shout to replace him.
Lennon will be up for this if Motherwell drop points on Saturday, he will want to make up for losing the cup and will tell the players this would be it
As for Rangers any fool that rights this lot off need to think again, they will not want to lose the league on there own patch, and with big Lafferty back this gives them something else up front.
The battle for me will be midfield, so Brown Leadley, Forrest, and Commons I would go for
This it will be a close game and can't wait to be there just hope there is no trouble.
Torres is good enough to pay for Spain you know
Hooper is good enough to play for England, you know.
-----------
Absolutely - right up there with McGregor being the best goalkeeper in the Uk, but he was dire on Sunday so dropped for me this week
Stokes deserves a chance against them more so than Hooper.
Also, Ki?! Please no. The guy has been shocking this season. Goes missing nearly every game he plays.

Return.....
Sorry mate Stokes is to hot headed for Old firm games and all it takes is for him to be red carded......so for me Stokes on the bench, and would stick a bet on Lennon does this aswell

Can see us playing a five man midfield to match Rangers with Sammy upfront
Ally is good enough to "manage" Rangers you know.
"Torres is good enough to pay for Spain you know"
That must be why he plays for the national team then.
Jinky - I know what you mean, but he was brilliant against them for Hibs. Rangers hated playing Stokes when he was there.
I think that Hooper needs a boot up the backside. I'm not sure wether he deserves to play on Sunday or not. Although I think Lennon is scared of dropping him for such a big game.
I'd worry about our width if Samaras was up on his own. Who would be in midfeild? Ledley, Ki, Wanyama, Commons and Brown?
Brown would be tempted to come inside and Commons likes to go walkies.
Although I think Lennon is scared of dropping him for such a big game.
_______
Correct He would go in an even bigger strop.
