But will Neymar stay with Santos?
I expect the will stay another year or two. He seem's happy there for now and will wait till he is ready to go to another club.
Nobody should ever bid on him now. Just to show them who needs who.

let me know ho this one works out for you. I thinks it admirable that a player is willing to wait at least another year until he is ready rather than jump at the money
I'm gonna bookmark this article and remind you about it in the end of August... when Neymar will have moved to Europe (Real/Chelsea).
Perhaps Real Madrid will sign him then loan him back to Santos,It is very strange that the Santos president has always been going on saying that If a club meets the 45mil valuation then he will be sold and now that Real Madrid and Chelsea have met the valuation he is now all of sudden staying.
Dodgy president wants to get more money for him.

Yes, absolutely correct!
Good, I don't want Neymar anyway
I expect he wants to go to Real but realises he has a fight on his hands to get into the 1st team.
will get another year under his belt and move to them or Barca in the next year (if they can find the funds)
The problem is that if Neymar dosn't move this summer and the UEFA Fair Play Rules are introduced, who will be able to afford him next season?

But why?
As opposed to our mega flop Torres he could be a mega star.
I also don´t want Neymar. Certainly not for 40 million, I wouldn´t even pay half that for him.
Unproven 19 year old who has never played in Europe. 15 million tops in my opinion, I don´t care how much potential he´s got.
My gut feeling tells me that he´d be an improvement on Robinho but not considerably better.
Also I can´t imagine Neymar putting in a shift on a freezing cold Tuesday night in February away to Sunderland.
