Beaton

What a in incompetence ref he is. Got all the big calls wrong and showed the world (but not the SFA) how poor he is.

CCV kicks the ball away when he's out of position
No yellow given

That's about the only real error I think he made, one that VAR couldn't back him up for

As for everything else...first pen would've been hard to see, can see how he booked Silva at first but on reflection it's a pen......disallowed goal, if he wasn't sure he could let it rumble on knowing VAR could look at it if we scored (think some refs do this now)

Didn't get much wrong for me
Walsh made the right calls in VAR room which I'm happier about

What? A clear foul in the middle of the park isn’t given because it MIGHT eventually lead to a goal? 😂 nonsense Stevie.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Steve Conroy was mentioned earlier, he didn’t think VAR should have looked at it and thinks the goal should have stood.

So Steve Conroy didn’t think it was a foul? As that should be the determining factor as to whether good should have stood.

You can argue with the three who unanimously agreed the goal should have stood.

No idea who they are bar Steve Conroy. But he was mentioned earlier so if his view is being taken on the pen then should be on disallowed goal

I’ll ask the same question again; So Steve Conroy didn’t think it was a foul?

I’m not wanting you to argue his point. 😂

You referenced Steve Conroy and his views. I asked for clarification. I’m not asking for you to justify them, just asking you, as someone who referenced his views, to confirm what they are. If you don’t know, or if Steve Conroy didn't provide any comment on whether there was a foul in the buildup, then that’s fine, you can just say that. 👍

Just watched a slow mo replay of the ‘penalty’ incident. As Michael Stewart said, ‘Never a penalty’

Silva the diver assisted by VAR

Aaaah Michael Stewart co-commentating on behalf of every other Celtic die hard out there.

Every decision awarded in Rangers favour was a shocker and every decision awarded against Rangers was instantly clearly correct according to that clown.

The BBC need to seriously question why they continue to employ Stewart - he is beyond parody now.

He’s not just a walloper that hates Rangers btw. He’s also a massive waIloper in general. I have had the misfortune of hearing him on BBC Scotland a couple of times in recent weeks and he’s had ding dongs with guys like Allan Preston and Kenny McIntyre live on air. Even his colleagues clearly can’t stand him.

So the BBC should only employ pro Rangers pundits then like Steven Thompson, Neil McCann and Kenny Miller?

Not pro Hearts? Not pro Celtic Just the ones that you agree with?

I didnt say any of that so not sure why you would think that.

To answer your question - no - I am fine with BBC using a balanced mix of pundits.

Michael Stewart is just a walloper of a bloke who clearly has a specific issue with Rangers. He cannot hide his hatred for us and it colours his view on every incident he gives an opinion on.

He is completely incapable of any reasonable assessment when it comes to anything to do with Rangers.

Peter Grant even grudgingly admitted he could see why the penalty was given on Silva on sunday.

Meanwhile Stewart is screaming like a spoilt 9 year old 'thats never a penalty, he gets the ball!'. Meaning he either doesnt understand the rules or his hatred of Rangers prevents him from considering them.
