I don't think it was such a "blind" purchase as you make out, Joe Shields knew him well from City previously so when the chance to buy him suddenly came up i'm sure he had an input.

Cole Palmer is a great player who fits in perfectly in this Chelsea team. Brilliant performance but let's remember it was against Everton.He has been ever present in this Chelsea team who now have only the faintest hope of a top 5 finish, and who managed to draw with 2-2 10 man Burnley from a 1-0 lead.

tbh I think I'd rather be Spurs with Johnson that Chelsea with Palmer.

Even after shipping 6 goals last night, Everton's goals against is better than Villa Spurs Newcastle West Ham Chelsea BHA Wolves Fulham Bournemouth Palace Brentford Forest Luton Sheff Utd and Burnley, and equal with Man Utds. Basically 4th best in the league!

"Its just Everton" doesnt really stack up. That first goal was sublime, megging the highly rated Braithwaite in the process

Everton don’t really play football, they just run loads and clog, every now and again the ball falls to DCL in a decent position and he gets them a goal.

They are the most boring, dreary and outright depressing team in the league and 90% of their fans would agree with that

We have another speedster in Solomon who has not entered this conversation.
And Kulushevski will regain form....had the best short on goal at Newcastle.

Son does need help from somewhere.
And Werner ain't the answer.

Frankly I'm waiting to see what our genius manager does in the upcoming matches!
