Honestly I had become open to the idea of selling him. But as long as he wants to stay and he is committed then we can't complain. Hopefully his recent poor run of form is just that and not signs of a decline.

Apparently Slot is a fan of Salah staying. He would have seen the goal scoring numbers and assists and thought i can't lose that next season and rely on Nunez and others.

Premier League clubs have agreed in principle to a spending cap.

This will anchor spendings to around five times the TV revenue of the bottom club.

Man City, Man Utd and Aston Villa were the only teams who voted against the move. Chelsea abstained.

Change to be ratified this summer.

When Slot took over from Advocaat we were nearly bankrupt (literally) and lost our best player to Ajax. We were nearly knocked out of the Conference League playoffs by FC Drita (I'm sure you've heard of mighty Drita... no? Of course not). Luckily for Slot he could go wild on the transfer market and bought Fredrik Aursnes for 400.000, Gernot Trauner for 1.4 million and loaned Cyriel Dessers from Heracles Almelo fame. We went on to reach the final of the conference league, tw@tted PSV 0-4 and finished 3rd.

After this surprisingly good season we lost 8 of our 11 starting players and still had feck all money to spend. He replaced them all on we won the league. Yes Ajax had a relatively poor year after Ten Hag left, but the money they paid for Steven Bergwijn is still more than our entire transfer budget and we beat Ajax away from home for the first time in like 26 years (and you lot think United fans have a sht time of it). The points total we ended on also would see us champions most years (more points than any of the 4 times Ajax won the league under Frank de Boer for instance, to give an example of another great manager :wenger: ) Of course we lost to fecking AS Roma again in Europe, but feck it.

This season we were favourites to win the league, managed to retain some of our players and were very confident... But then PSV won literally (and I mean that literally not in a reddit way) all their games up to February (feck you @Eendracht maakt macht) and were unbeatable. We did beat them in the cup by the way, and also number 3 FC Twente, so that run wasnt very easy.

Aynway, long story short, when we started we could barely beat FC Drita. When he leaves people laugh at us for only finishing 3rd in our CL group. So all hail king Arne.

yeah lost some of my childhood pets over the last couple years was devastated, still got a cat from the first litter my other cat had, hes 18 now though, feel like when hes gone thats my last connection to childhood gone

Yeah I was devastated when my 20 yr old cat died, it took me like 10 years to have anymore pets after that.

I was like 10 when she was born and 20 when she died..

Nunez will have one more season to reach his potential, Diaz is a class act but again can't be relied upon for goals, Jota is never fit and always requires many games to find form and Harvey Elliot hasn't been given a long enough run as a RWF...

We deffo need to sign an attacking player IMO

I don’t think he’ll leave Leeds. There was an interview and there was something where he doesn’t like leaving clubs, I think the actual quote was ‘I never can say goodbye’.

That Gakpo incident where ref blew whistle to a none dead ball has not been mentioned enough. Even Dermot Gallagher said it was bizarre.

Our players need to be more street smart. City and Arsenal players would have all been surrounding the ref while we just left Gakpo alone eat up the refs BS. Even Klopp could not be bothered.
