Surprised Xavi changed his mind. Barca must be really skint and he’s stayed to help them out.

“ You're on a postgraduate course.
You walk into the lecture room, maybe a little bit late.
The lecture hasn't started, but most people are sitting down.
You see a spare seat at a table.
You go to sit down in the spare seat.
The people sitting at the table tell you they don't want you to sit there (smiling about it like it like it's a bit of a game, but also like no you're not sitting here).
You're a bit surprised, but you don't make a fuss about it, you just go and sit at another table.
One of the people at the table later submits a formal harassment complaint. They say that as well as trying to sit next to them, you sent them 4 (completely harmless) emails which they didn't reply to.
You receive a letter saying that you have been ejected from the course, you are not allowed to contact anybody on the course and are not allowed on the premises.”

… also said looked at her in lectures
which was true, but she'd sit there sticking her ttits out and laughing etc. can't remember specifically what else but very clearly suggestive 'stuff' (only remember this - - apart from the sticking out the ttits, because remember describing it in detail at length in written response to the letter).
that did get bit a bit weird in fairness, but so was her doing that all the time.
then suddenly she wanted to do a group exercise together and arranged to meet in the library.
she kept moving her arm right next to the person, who remembers thinking why is she trying to get him to touch her arm (which he didn't by the way.)
then about a day after that gets the letter.
totally out of the blue
the grounds were listed out.
*looking at her
*trying to sit next to her (which was literally as i described, going to sit down in an empty chair for a lecture, which was also a set up)
*sending 4 emails without a reply (and they were totally harmless, nothing emails)

He should have paid more attention to Sexual Harassment Panda and he wouldn’t get in the mess.

Stone Cold Sean Dyche

Dyche

Interesting what Rooney was just saying about finishing practice in training. He was saying that because of sports science, players don’t stay out after sessions practicing it. They want them straight in and out before and after sessions apparently.

Which is probably why you’d be able to finish better than Nunez, but lack the athleticism to cause chaos against elite athletes by running like a headless chicken.

Ambivalent about Xavi staying. Still doesn't seem to be a great manager, but they do play well in spells and tend to cause us trouble.

More worried about us post-Luca. With the expected reinforcements in attack, I could see Bellingham being moved back to play a bigger role in playing the ball out. Will be interesting to see if that happens and how our midfield play evolves. Tchouameni-Camavinga-Bellingham I guess would be our starting midfield, which sounds good, but I'm not sure about Camavinga's posotional sense/discipline and reading of the game.

Hope there's enough room for Endrick to get games. He'll need time to keep developing and adapt, but I'm excited to see what he's capable of.

Peks, serious question: have you ever considering emigrating somewhere like Slovenia or Montenegro?

Surely there are jobs to be has there for someone with your qualifications and language skills. The native language might be a hindrance at first, but you'd be able to pick up the basics in bed with all that Slav totty.

Quick roundup from some of Europe's lesser leagues:

AEK Athens and Galatasaray have both opened up 4 point leads on Panathinaikos and Fenerbahce in Greece and Turkey, respectively. 5 games to go in Turkey, no idea in Greece as they've got one of those ch'ship group formats and I can't be bothered to look it up.

Besiktas sacked Fernando Santos before the last round of fixtures after going 5 games without a win and slipping to 4th behind Trabzonspor. Doubt many will be upset to see him bore off.

In Cyprus meantime, Aris long since relinquished all hope of doubling up on their maiden league title last season. At first glance, it looks like back to business as usual with APOEL Nicosia heading the table, but AEK Larnaca are just one point behind with two rounds to play.

AEK have actually been the most successful team in Cyprus since their maiden title in 2015. In round 35 they face Anorthosis, who have nothing really left to play for, whilst APOEL travel across town to visit arch-rivals Omonia (49 titles between the two of them).

Then, provided AEK avoid a shock result against Anorthosis, the stage will be set for a massive title decider in week 36, as APOEL host AEK.

AEK are 8-1-1 in their last 10, while APOEL are 6-1-3, but that sole AEK defeat came precisely at the hands of APOEL, who've seemed to have their opponents' number this season.

Beautifully balanced that one.

Up in Poland, Rakow have never really looked like defending their maiden title from last season, but in exchange Jagiellonia Białystok are ideally poised to claim what would also be their first ever league title.

With 5 games to go, Jagiellonia hold a 4-point gap over Śląsk Wrocław, who themselves have only ever won the title twice, their last title coming 12 years ago.

Back in third are one of the Polish classics, Lech Poznan, tied on points with Slask. Two other big boys, Gornik Zabrze (-7) and Legia Warsaw (-8) seem to have too much ground to make up with too many teams in front of them to be realistic candidates at the moment.

Over in Denmark, another historic team, Brondby, were top of the table last time I checked. Haven't really looked into it much, but it had been quite some time since I noticed any Danish side other than Copenhagen and the two Jyllands in the thick of the title race.

Over in Russia, Krasnodar were giving Zenit a run for their money until the two met two or three weeks ago. Zenit Munich won and now look like lifting the title again for the nth time in recent years. No doubt their Vlad's team, or he'd have made sure they were taken down a peg or two by now.

Also forgot to mention the Austrian BuLi. RB Salzburg blew a 2-0 lead and lost 4-3 at Klagenfurt at the weekend, leaving them 3 points behind Sturm Graz, with a decisive RB-Graz game coming up. Big, big upset on the cards if Sturm manage to get a result there.

Haven’t they won the Austrian league every year for about 10 years?

Just looked and they’ve won the last ten. They’ve also won 14 of the last 18.
