Unnecessarily riled up.
Yes, by unnecessary disgusting accusations from a person who is clearly above any form of criticism for his actions.
Sizzle got removed from the old thread because EVERYONE left and right called out his disgusting behaviour and were reporting him for it. Clearly calling people a N@zi is far more reprehensible than suggesting they molest children.

I wasn't referring to JS' accusations, Dave was already on edge before that while having a go at Oscar's covid post.

Nah Dave has been getting worked up over climate change / covid mis-information for a while now. It didn't seem very healthy, for himself. Best thing is to let it slide, especially if it's small fry like an obscure football forum online

I mean if someone is posting objectively false (and potentially maliciously too) information I think many reasonable posters would be none too happy.
Of course Dave was right to inform and correct misinformation, this isn't Parler.
Sometimes you have to let these things go for your own mental wellbeing, it's one thing to try to correct false information from people in positions of influence, but trying to combat misinformation online one poster at a time is like using a bucket to stem a tide

One might be entitled to feel a tad aggrieved if they were asked, (on multiple occasions) if they were a child sax offender.
Maybe he thinks if he can get through to even one person reading then its worthwhile, particularly from a health perspective. Peddling misinformation about a pandemic is not clever or funny.
I admire Dave and Stuart. The amount of times they have corrected misinformation, on different topics, from the same few posters is unbelievable. Generally once isn't enough either as the very same untruths are used again a couple of days later by the same posters. God bless their patience.

A lot of people don't change tack when they're "fact-checked". Something about beliefs overriding facts, cognitive dissonance etc.. It's a pointless pursuit on an individual scale IMO. Much better to target that energy at something more scalable.

As the o/p stated "a place to discuss human behavior"
I fail to understand the b.a.m.e activists who as i see them as second or third generation immigrants.
Their parents or grandparents came here a settled into the country, raised a family and assume they were content in their new homes, the question is why are their offspring so angry and seem so ante the uk.?

Also he never said that. He was alluding to the fact that JS wife is from an area of Thailand where people go specifically to meet children....
This was AFTER he was accused of being a paedophile 3 times today.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Still a silly thing to say which isn't like him which is the point of what we said, a break might be good for him, he got wound up a lot
