They're not bombing the exits, just near them, is spin of Braverman proportions.

Some people on here really will say anything.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why bomb near the exits in the first place. It's obvious what they're doing and the effect that will have. Sat Nav can be so daft when it suits his views.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You seem to be in the know. Maybe you have direct access to the Israeli Defence Force’s operational directives.

I don’t know. They’ve been quoted as going after tunnels which is often refuted.

The reality is that neither of us know, you’re making an assumption based on very little, if anything.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Then why did you declare that they were not bombing the exits, only near the exits
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because we would have seen thousands and thousands of bodies?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How do you know whether and how many were crossing at that time? You just said we don't know sheet. Didn't stop you making random declarations pulled right out your arris

"Is see far more hate for Jews on here than hate for Arabs, but hating Jews seems to be acceptable by the left these days."

For me, this is one of the worst thing that has come out of politics - people asserting a schism that just isn't there. It seems incomprehensible to some that many people, I'll chance my arm and say the majority of people, go through life not hating anyone at all.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What kind of logic do you expect from right wingers and Tories?

Tbf, while it's slightly more common from the right, it's very far from exclusive.

Armed Israeli settlers are attacking the funerals for the Palestinians they killed yesterday in Qusra in the West Bank. Total impunity compounded by a war in the south means settler violence is surely going to escalate even further.

Watching a docu series on the response to 9/11. With the benefit of 20 years of hindsight there are some interesting analogies to draw with the current situation, around executive power, around “proportionate responses”, around how do you go to war with a terrorist organisation.

Hopefully the 9/11 comparisons won’t lead to global insecurity and the deaths of 300,000 civilians

What do you expect after the terrorist attack at the weekend. It’s a war now and both sides look to be playing dirty.
Jihad day tomorrow apparently

I’m obv very influential but I don’t think I’m THAT influential 😂😂

Seriously though it is an interesting look-across considering Afghanistan, and as you say the wider region, 22 years on.

Israel are also terrorists. I notice they're bombing Syria (where they also illegally occupy land) and Lebanon now.

Israel are in a state of war with Gaza (if you can call it that), Syria to the east and Lebanon to the north. Seems they've also had enough with them.

I imagine it won’t be long until Iran is involved

posted on 12/10/23

Just watched an officer from IDS explaining that there are 2 levels of Gaza the ground level where the civilians are and the underground tunnels where Hamas are hiding.
"We are targetting the tunnels."

I'm sure there is someone on here who could explain how this is done. Would be laughable if not for the tragedy.

Israel has occupied the Golan Heights for years which is Lebonese territory.

They also used to bomb the Bekaa Valley, the only productive farming area in Lebanon on a regular basis.

Isreal have declared Hezbollah a terrorist organisation which means its allies have too. The Lebanese look upon them as a force for protection after decades of Israeli airstrikes and military incursions.

I know all that, and I would dispute that final point. I’m married to a Lebanese, it’s probably just parts of the south that see them as protectors. The Sunni/Christian factions think differently.
