Stop it Fields. At first it was funny but now I’m starting to feel bad for you
----------------------------------------------------------------------
'What's wrong with being at a Reform (racist far right political party) meeting and being white'?

Was this a serious question?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was pointing out your hypocrisy Fields which I have already stated. Give up bro, you’re having a real nightmare and acting like a child.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What hypocrisy?

Nothing wrong with pointing out the whiteness of a bunch of racists. You're cool defending them though so its all good.

Imagine putting yourself on the side of the argument where you're actually defending Lee Anderson and a bunch of racists.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Defending hahahahah
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What would you call it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It would help if you read what other people write when entering into a discussion Fields. Just for a change….

You get upset if your local Big Issue seller is foreign and you're upset at Bangladeshi representation in a minor political party
====
He doesn't see the issue if it's white people in the demography though. He's wondering what we're all talking about as he can't really see what point we could possibly be trying to make.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't have a problem with foreign people selling the big issue, I have a problem with them doing if for years on end and having 4 children in the process. The BI was meant to be a leg up not a career.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you really didn't you wouldn't bring up where they are from
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I have a problem with a foreigner selling the BI for years on end, we have enough deadbeats here as it is.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And there it is, true colours coming out.

Quick question, what's the problem with being a local councillor and being Asian?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nothing, I find it odd that all Aspire Party councillors are Bangladeshi when the area is multicultural.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're surprised a political party started by a Bangladeshi man has Bangladeshi councillors in it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Good Lord hahahah talk about whoooooooosh

They represent 10 seats of 45 on Tower Hamlets council. Looking at the first link you posted THC is also represented by other ethnicities and genders.

The council has been under the majority control of local party Aspire since 2022. It has been led by a directly elected mayor since 2010. The council is based at Tower Hamlets Town Hall on Whitechapel Road.

I think we can all agree that Reform are a weird bunch, full of cranks, who have had to ditch a bunch of openly racist, homophobic, conspiracy theorist, loonballs in the last few weeks as they try to appeal nationally and who are stealing the, not inconsiderable, extreme right wing
Support of the conservative party faithful.

Most of which are ex-Labour members. Wait a minute, what other recent party is made up of a lot of a major political party leavers….hmmm that is a tough one….

Ah yes Reform, the one with women in a photo but only white so we all cry about diversity.

Yet you seemingly have no issue about an all male, all Asian controlling council in an area that has around 50:50 split between men and women and a population of ethnicities such as white (in all its forms), black, Arab accounting for over 40% of the people in the borough.

It’s selective diversity and hypocrisy. Clear as day.

"Nothing, I find it odd that all Aspire Party councillors are Bangladeshi when the area is multicultural."

They represent 10 seats of 45 on Tower Hamlets council. Looking at the first link you posted THC is also represented by other ethnicities and genders.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The council has been under the majority control of local party Aspire since 2022. It has been led by a directly elected mayor since 2010. The council is based at Tower Hamlets Town Hall on Whitechapel Road.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Most of which are ex-Labour members.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who elected TH councillors?

Who elected Reform candidates?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
People did.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The people you described living in TH elected them. Are you saying the electorate aren't a diverse bunch when choosing their local councillors?

No comparison to the Reform event.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You don’t know the ethnicity of those who voted for them nor the demographics of the borough, so you cannot draw any conclusions at all.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yet that's exactly what you've done here;

"Yet you seemingly have no issue about an all male, all Asian controlling council in an area that has around 50:50 split between men and women and a population of ethnicities such as white (in all its forms), black, Arab accounting for over 40% of the people in the borough."
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s about your demonstrable selective lack of diversity outrage, not voting patterns.

Christ almighty the levels of stupidity here are quite alarming at times.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You don't know the ethnicity of voters nor those of the borough but can claim this;

"an area that has around 50:50 split between men and women and a population of ethnicities such as white (in all its forms), black, Arab accounting for over 40% of the people in the borough."

Make your mind up.

Also what outrage from me?
