Felt like Conors old fights, beaten before he got in the ring, just like Aldo and Alvarez.

I'm not reading too much into it for this reason. Khabib, Ferguson, Usman and Masvidal have the mentality to see through the facade.

It was a bit, no other fighter who was 4-6 in thier last 10 and lost the 2 before would get anywhere near mcgregor

Maybe he'll continue the proper 12 promotional tour and face RDA in Brazil as another build up

Thought Reyes took that, not a robbery but any judge who gives that 49-46 shouldn't be allowed to judge again.

Yeah gave Reyes the 1st 3 rounds.

Jones took over in the championship rounds.

Agree 49-46 is just ridiculous, judges ruin both boxing and ufc

Yh had reyes sneak a 48-47, he started to get on his bike last minute or so of the 3rd which probably lost him the fight, anyone calling it a robbery based on 1 rd needs to give their head a wobble

What exactly did Jones do though? Reyes put him on his ass a few times and looked good contecting most the fight JJ just walked forward, certainly didnt see anything even close to enough for a clear points decision........failed take downs, and a few leg kicks? Seriously you think that is enough to win a fight? Arguable 1 should have been a 10-8 also. Sorry didnt see anything that suggests Jones wins that fight especially 49-46

I dont know anyone had 49-46 bar that judge, it was a 3-2 fight

Having rewatched i can only assume the judges took the boxing mentality of "you really have to beat the champ" in the final rounds.

1-3 were quite clearly reyes, shame for the lad.

Jones could well end this year with a loss at this rate, crazy stuff

Generally agree Guv, but I always get the impression Israel thinks he is much better than he is - I am sure in his mind he thinks he is on the same level as prime Jones/Silva.......which he isnt, imo he doesnt have the discipline and that could cost him as I dont think he will stick to a game plan like Whittaker in the 1st Yoel fight. Think Yoels size will make it interesting for sure, and if he can get a hold of Adesanya stuff will certainly happen.

I would be massively surprised if adesanya doesn't pick romero off and tkos him late, romero is tough as nails and yes he has that dynamite but cant see him staying active enough to go deep rds with adesanya
