Looking to the summer.

Gil to go, may be replaced in the squad by this Bergvall guy - still very much fringe.

Hojbjerg to go and lets bring in a decent replacement (Gallagher? Ederson?)

GLC entering the last year of his deal, i think he'll probably go too. Not sure if he needs a replacement or this just opens a spot for an academy player to step into.

Werner, we'll have to see how good he is before deciding whether to keep.

Sess - someone else who will have to prove their worth as a backup player. Needs to be a genuine option to Udogie who will need resting at times, will get injured and suspended. If he's not up for it then we need a decent replacement back up.

Phillips - If he aint good enough to be 4th choice i think we should get an experienced head as backup. No Johnny Evans but that type of player who can do a job.

Davies, Emerson, Skipp all decent squad players to be retained.

Add a quality striker to all this, may be 2 if Werner goes back and we are looking very strong

I think the Swede is MF not wing. I'd back Gio and give him a 1 year extension and see if he can stay fit.
Hojberg I'd be quite happy to keep, but fine with him going too which may be the case.

Werner - he's a bargain. a useful back up to Son. Keep him.

Sess - get rid if we can

Phillips - He's fine out on loan. We've got the Croatian wonderkid joining for 25/26.

I need to think about this and am doing something else atm. I don't think we need to do too much though.
We have a great squad and already have a young superstar midfielder and young superstar defender coming in in due course. Maybe another attacking player though as you suggest.

Devine should take Lo Celso's place next season

get Devine in the first team and send Donley on loan
