Nice well thought out & researched article Chile!

No game is ever easy although as fans it's easy to slip into that way of thinking, but I think we should score enough to compensate for any errors by the officials.

Our next game is pivotal for both ourselves and Peterborough. A forest win could put us four points behind Bournemouth, which according to the supercomputer up in Huddersfield, still wouldn’t allow a possibility of Forest finishing second. It would however, put Huddersfield one point behind, which would guarantee Huddersfield finishing second.

Not really sure what this is insinuating? You could of course get second place still, and are far more likely than us to somehow complete that miracle, however I'm not sure there's enough fireworks in circulation for you to be able to celebrate it? Or do you only act that ridiculous when you beat a reserve team in the last 16 of a cup?

Try coming back down to Earth. Your fans have made Sheffield Wednesday's look humble this season

I was insinuating that there is a super-computer in Huddersfield.

Did we set off fireworks when we beat Huddersfield? It was an ok win against an average side.

We had our leading goal-scorer and 1st choice goalie out, you started with half your regular team and then brought three of them on. Let’s move on 👍🏻

So much jeopardy in this one, we all know Posh will be fighting for their lives. Being a bit risk adverse a draw with no injuries maybe a good outcome!

That said, I fancy us to take control and edge it 2-1

I have never said we would/could finish second!!

We're all just happy being in the end of season lottery..

I get your insecurities...desperate to finish second because of your poor record in the championship playoffs....3 goes and 3 defeats....derbyesque really

Best part of it all Waltz - I genuinely don't give a toss if we go up or not. Been there, done that, wore the expensive, soulless t-shirt....

If we do, fine, we can get back to getting humped every week with the added "bonus" of waiting 5 minutes for VAR to confirm things, but I would take just as much joy in watching Forest fail as I would us succeeding in the playoffs. They've gone full Sheffield Wednesday 2016/17 edition and we know how that all worked out. Just need to decide who plays the Collin Quaner role and we're all set 😏

I feel the same champers regarding promotion...tbh I'm just thinking about the money and that it will allow us to compete in the championship for a few seasons

I will congratulate the eventual playoff winners as long as its not Millwall!!...heaven forbid that!....Lufc of the south

Yep, shame there isn't an option to just have the TV money but let someone else have the Premier League place on the grounds that it's the most boring division in the world if you aren't super rich. Can't get excited over the thought of aiming for 17th every season. If we do go up, I'll probably be spending my Saturdays doing something else until we get relegated. Two seasons up there was enough to last me a lifetime. Hated it.

Our record is worst than that, actually 4 defeats out of 4 with Sheff U, Yeovil, Blackpool and Swansea the beneficiaries

Those Yeovil and Blackpool games were absolutely insane. I'm still scratching my head years later as to how you managed to blow both of those!

My sentiments exactly, there isn’t a thing about the Prem I like. Everything is over inflated, except maybe the ball. The Championship is 100% honest football, majority of the time where, competitive games week in week out. I like the idea of taking the money but forfeiting promotion, unfortunately it’ll never happen. The idea of being one place above the dotted line at the end of the season being classed as success just isn’t right. Yes maybe we could do what the likes of Leicester have achieved, or we could end up like Wigan. I enjoy the championship, but I’m sure our accountants don’t. Ref the above, we’ve not won a single home game in the play offs, drew 2 and lost 2. 😂. That’s history and we may get the chance to put it right. 👍

Add that to us missing the playoffs two years ago and you might understand why we’re so up for some good news 🤣

I guess if you are in the prem the best you can hope for us is to follow Brighton/Brentford/Southampton example maybe have periods in a season when you in form and look half decent accepting the odd thrashing along the way!

Would be nice to be on Match of the day thou

The thing i’d enjoy most is VAR. It can’t be worse than the ref’s!!!!

Also, it would be on Optus meaning I can watch the match on replay straightaway for nothing instead of waiting an eternity for ForestTV to pop it on the internet!

Oh...and to see how our Nottingham lads play / Roy Keane headbutting Neville for calling us Notts.

To see Cooper on MotD.

I’m hoping we do a Foresf. A Leicester was an achievement, a Forest was a miracle!

The media is so disrespectful to the promoted teams aswell,,they got their chance genuinely yet they like to put them down all the time

If we do manage to win these playoffs I would like us to do things differently this time...no big spendature...maybe 20/30 million on decent recognised championship players instead of blowing the whole 100 million on unknown African players that haven't a clue in the Premier league like we did last time....keep the rest of the money and stay competitive in the championship

Actually looking at the fixtures it doesn't look that impossible for forest to finish 2nd

As long as Fulham beat Bournemouth tomorrow and you win and then you go and beat Bournemouth you have gained 6 points on them...so very possible Actually!

I fancy Millwall go get 6th spot so they will need something at Bournemouth on the final day

An interesting couple of weeks ahead

Yes I'm glad you've recognised that, a very slim chance but we shall see. I don't see Fool-ham beating the Cherries though.

To be fair to Forest, if Cooper had been in charge all season there's more than a fair chance they'd have taken that second automatic spot. Nobody is going to want to play them in the playoffs and to me they're like Fulham the season we went up last time - if we're going up we will need someone else to try and take them out in the semis like Reading did with Fulham as over 2 legs I highly doubt we could.

Best part for me was having our stadium on the FIFA video game, and I don't even play it

Think you would stay up season one, probably do similar to how Brentford have fared this time round. That second season is ridiculous though which is bizarre as every team should be better than the one before, surely?!

Still seems mad to me that you've been out of the top flight so long. I'm 42 and right up to yous being relegated you were always a main player when I was growing up and had some real fine players - Little Cloughie, Des Walker, Viv Anderson, Steve Hodge, Franz Carr, Kingsley Black, Ian Woan...I was a very big admirer of Forest from afar as a nipper!

Sure we all realise this so apologies for stating the obvious, but the cycles football clubs mean you inevitably have good and bad spells. Over the 20 odd years out of the prem we have probably had 5 good spells, 3 championship playoffs and 2 times missing out on the final day. When you in a good place so important to make the most of it with a promotion! As we can testify! Not just us of course Derby and Sheffield Weds recent examples!

With all that in mind I am really trying to focus on securing the playoff place, if we can win the next two then maybe sit down Wednesday morning with a coffee and a cinnamon swirl and look at where Bournemouth are do some maths on how Likely it all is
