Decent game that and good result for Spurs. Ref handled it well except for failing to give Rashford a yellow for the blatant dive.
Bruno Fernandes probably deserved a booking too for something or other.

Bruno deserves a red just for that whiny bitchy face he has every game

Not sure I dislike any other player more

Would have been a decent weekend had villa not fluked their win

Rashford and Casemiro have been sent off for 10x less.

I think that's a bit much. A yellow would have been sufficient for Rashfords dive, he didn't deserve a red.

What was the expected indirect free kick please Spafi bot?

I was on about Rashford against Copenhagen which basically cost us CL football as we were batteringn them and should have been 0-4 up before a ridiclous red card for Rashford putting his foot in a natural way to the floor but as an opposition player moved himself there it was a a straight red card lol.

posted on 3/3/24

Rashford probably first player to get sent off for just moving lol.

I'll repeat this question about yesterday's match........

My MOM today was Mickey VDV.
The guy's all over the place, covering our errors. And nobody gets past him!
Now then, who's the better defender, vdv or Kyle Walker at his prime?
Your opinions please!

Not sure it's fair to compare the two, Ted.
Walker is what I would call a wing back, VDV is a CB.
Both fast and good players, different positions though.

The "better defender" for me would be VDV.

My opinion too.... but its damned close ... I've seen walker run back to save hopeless situations too!

Now then...when are we going to see Dragusin?
The guy's sitting on the bench ready to go!

Villa and Spurs battling for fourth, should go to the wire. United closer to their main rivals these days, Wolves, in a battle for top half honours.

Always tough coming in January. I think we will see a lot more of him next season once he has got a pre season with Ange behind him.

I’m not discounting United at this point, if we lose at Villa next week and United beat Everton at home then it’s 3 points and our game in hand is Chelsea away where we love to lose.

We need a minimum of 10 points from our next 5 games and we absolutely have to win the final 2 games against Burnley and Sheff Utd. That’s 16 points plus the 6 point gap we have, that’s gives us a 22 point advantage over United, but I expect them to get 23 more points, so we’re going to need to get a further point from one of the following:

Newcastle (A)
Arsenal (H)
Man City (H)
Liverpool (A)
Chelsea (A)

We could definitely lose all of those

it will be foolish to rule out Utd agreed

Think Spammers are creeping up too but they should be discounted imo

We must beat Villa to close the gap and hove ourselves a good chance to get 4th

That’s such a tough run of games.

We've got tough games too. We will lose another 3 maybe 4 ourselves most likely. Our season quite frankly doesn't deserve CL football and if by some miracle we end up 5th and qualify then it doesn't say much about the Premier League I must say.

Don't get too gassed about qualifying for a competition you won't compete in either. It's not as fun as it's cracked up to be. I know all too well from this season. 😂😭
