Thought KDB was not at his best today and City had no plan to unlock the 11 man Arsenal defence. Maybe the game would have been better had the ref not left his yellow cards in the changing room for the first half but City need to play a lot better than that to get past Madrid.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You could also tell that Foden had played 180 minutes of international football in the last week whilst Bukayo Lazaraus had been sat at home on his XBox.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Absolute joke that Saka was allowed to start tbh.

Pep brought on Grealish so he could pass backwards and sideways to see out the draw.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

First time we looked decent and I thought we might score was after Grealish came on tbh.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Might be because Doku came on at the same time and actually ran at players because Pep hasn’t turned him into a boring sideways passing robot yet.

I thought Arsenal were pathetic tbh. City are there for the taking and they had absolutely no desire to win that game.

I’m delighted as a Liverpool fan of course!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Assume you won there then did you?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No we didn’t. We had injuries all over the pitch as always. Arsenal come in at full strength against a hugely depleted City defence and were too scared not to lose.

Again, im delighted with that outcome.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Arsenal weren't full strength.
Liverpool got 2 points from City, we got 4. I guess our approach was better

When City game forward I relaxed when Doku got on the ball, dreadful player.

Yeah but the ref didnt give Odegaard a yellow so clearly City should have won

----------------------------------------------------------------------
60 odd minutes and 13 fouls before he finally produced a yellow

Jesus should have been booked in the 2nd minute

Arsenal were touted as "favourites". Arteta talking of a "big win". All their team highlights! Only to came and defend 🤣

Would have been a boon for us, we'd have brought on someone decent earlier

Played like 300 mins of football vs City this season and the only chance they’ve created in that time fell to a Chelsea player.

Nah, I thought he was awful! It was our play down the left side with Grealish and Bernardo that worked well.

Hugely, I say Arsenal were there for the taking but we were too. To come in top of the league, have 28% possession, 6 shots but no proper chances and 2 yellow cards for time wasting. I'd be gutted if I was an Arsenal fan. No ambition and can't see how any of you think it's a good result for you in the 'title race'. Only winners today were Liverpool

Arsenal - 8
Liverpool - 3
City - 3

Yet here we are with Arsenal being told their approach was wrong

And we would be third if we lost

Good to know City fans think so little of their team that all Arsenal had to do was go all out attack and we would have absolutely smashed your team to bits.

On the positive side, we were 8 points behind the leaders at this stage last season.

On the negative side, we had Mahrez and Gundo rather than Kovacic and Doku.

As I say, thought either team could have rolled the other today if they had a bit more about them. Personally though I'd be gutted if City went into a game for a point at this stage of the season when anything other than a win loses the initiative

Walker, Stones, the Ake injured and they sat back and parked the bus.

Total lack of ambition.

Boris is more consistent with his smooth brain takes than City are at home!

Not loads to say about City today, nobody had an especially poor game bar maybe Haaland, who could really do with putting himself about a bit more in games like that. Never really see him first to a loose ball or 50/50. Back 5 were all sound, Rico good when he came on - always available for the ball. Phil a bit lost, international football won't have helped but we got a lot of space down left in first half, maybe he could of done with being out wider to support Gvardiol - who had a good game.

Yeah, no one really had a stinker, think it's just as you say Boris. Last year we had the likes of Gundogan or Mahrez who could come in and turn that into a win. Both sides have lost out hugely today to Liverpool, and to chalk it up as anything other than that is nonsense.

City played for a draw as well. They didn’t play with any risk and ambition.

Rico and Kovacic your best players I'd say.
