Looks like pens have boosted his numbers the last few seasons.

Fabulous player in his prime, but surely anyone can see it’s the perfect time to cash in? Salah’s been absolutely honking during the business end of this season. He’s not alone, but the other under-performers aren’t 32 and on £400k a week.

I don't think he's even the best paid player in the league is he?

Why would he be a burden on the new manager? If he can't the rare Salah strop then he is in the wrong job and we need someone stronger.

We don't need stroppy players at this delicate time, and who knows if it's rare? He's gonna have to get used to time on the bench and who knows how he'll handle that. Didn't take too long for him to lose his sheet and that's with Klopp at the helm.

What is Slot gonna do when Salah starts approaching menacingly and Nunez isn't there to stop him?

I don't think he's even the best paid player in the league is he?
Earlier in the thread there is talk that he's on 400k a week not sure if thats true or not,who in the world would pay anywhere near that for a thirty two year old player way past his best years.

Or he could find his form and get back to continue being the top scorer, top assister and top chance creator at the club. You were probably the same fans who wanted VVD gone after a bad season.

Well it's hardly break the bank how will anyone else afford him levels is it. How much was Rooney on in his past contract at United?

Probably the right time to sell him. Still effective but he’s not what he used to be.

I think he gets a good rest this summer, and I suspect he needs it.

He started the season incredibly strongly, and I suspect the same will happen again. It’s not the 90’s anymore, players like him are going well into their 30’s and we’ve lost enough experience from the dressing room as it is.

His numbers are exceptional and I find the standards that some hold him to absolutely crazy tbh.

I think it's probably impossible to say until he's sat down and had a discussion with Slot. The Klopp project has lost its legs and that's obviously affecting Salah too. He still loves the club and I'm sure if the manager wants him and can motivate him to be a big part of the new project then he'd absolutely stay, but if he's just tired and needs a change then that's totally fair enough.

Yep, I think he needs his role adjusting slightly actually. He’s our top assisted every year too, which doesn’t seem to get much attention.

I think there’s still plenty to come from Mo yet.
