We dont need a miracle to beat Celtic
What we need to do, is stop giving away very soft goals, particularly when its the first goal in the game.
First old firm this season. simple header from midfield and our defence is undone, Kyogo pounces
Second old firm this season, Sima could head it out of play or anywhere away from the danger.....heads it straight to Bernardo around the penalty spot, middle of the danger area, you score.
Third old firm this season.....The Tav/Maeda carry on
See if we stop gifting you goals, and particularly the first goals of the game, we might actually have a chance.

I have watched our defence lately
I did not suggest whether there was more or less chance of us doing similar things again...I've simply said that if we do continue doing that $hit, we will lose again
But at the end of the day, I'm still a fan, still a supporter, and always hold out the hope that despite how badly we are playing, we might actually pull it out the bag

I get it. But I am 50 now and have seen this movie many many times.
There is a chance we can win and it would represent as big a shock as say, Betis away for me.
Given the amount of players we are missing, given the form we are in and given that Celtic are in their best shape all season with a full squad, I think they are very deservedly firm favourites for the game.
I would love to be surprised if a team like we will have cobbled together tomorrow can go there and win. Just struggling to see it.
Mind you Dessers was so horrifically bad again against Killie that maybe he will pull a performance out of the hat tomorrow. Hes that sort of Jekyll and Hyde player.

They had 4 out of their back 5 that will play tomorrow. And the fact they were ‘forced’ to play one of their new £3.5m centre backs was hardly a hardship.

I like we've had Rodgers saying we will have fun, McGregor out in the press beating his chest, Sutton saying Rangers can't tame Celtic.
There may have been but I haven't seen comment from Rangers. I hope that's us focused on the job at hand, utilising their arrogance to our advantage.

We’re top of the league, haven’t lost to you all season despite Rangers being favourites on two occasions and had just played out what was likely our best performance of the season with a fully fit squad available at last.
Having a “bit of fun” I’d have thought would be the least we should expect.

My astonishment was more over the opinion that the ref/VAR may somehow hinder Celtics ability to win the game

Do VAR only decide the result when the decisions go against Celtic?
VAR decisions very much gone in Celtic’s favour in our results this year. And has changed results.
So could easily argue VAR has already decided the title, but it’s Zico and Celtic fans that bang on about the refs narrative.
