The Tide is turning

The tide is turning and the footballing world is finally standing up to take notice. There is a new team in town, a new team arriving to the party and I for one am absolutely loving it.

Everton were demolished from start to finish, they simply couldn’t live with the pace and power of an Arsenal side that showed less fear than an African honey badger, and more optimism than Mahatma Gandhi.

It was a phenomenal combination and the boys in blue were scared stiff, mesmerised and bewildered as the brutal Arsenal midfield took control and dominated from start to finish. How they were still in it for 90mins I will never know, but 1 goal against Everton equals at least 4 goals against teams like Tottenham and Wigan.

If Ryan Giggs was a singer he’d be Tom Jones, been around for years and still going strong. Then our very own Thomas Vermaelen would be Celine Dion. He might not look the part but has range and versatility that no one on the planet can match.

Terrified and devoid of ideas, last night Spurs sent out a Batman like distress signal from their side of North London.

With Harry’s face illuminating the sky they excitedly awaited a response, but unfortunately for them he was filling out an FA job application form and couldn’t be bothered to turn up.

Like watching Andy Reid trying escape from a bean bag, it’s hilarious to witness.

Did you seriously just compare Tommy V to Celine Dion?
