I have a very real fear that this transfer window will give me a brain enema the way things are currently progressing so I'm going to distract myself by listing reasons to be cheerful as an Arsenal fan.......here goes!
1) There is the possibility that the deadwood squad players who are on high wages yet contribute little may be moved on.........(Deadwood was also a good show that was unjustly cancelled!)
2) RVP is great and I am looking forward to him getting more grey hairs and thus looking even more distinguished.
3) If we sign Gervinho I'm pretty sure that there's a plan in place to direct the floodlights at the Emirates towards his forehead and blind our opposition.
4) If we sign Oxlade-Chamberlain then we will make a lot of money if fans get his name on the back of their jerseys.
5) I don't think that Manuel will be between the sticks for us again. I don't hate the guy and he had a stage where he did alright for us but surely that's that now?
6) Clichy has been a good servant but him going could be a blessing in disguise if it means that we get a more capable left-back. I'm trying not to entertain thoughts of Gibbs and Traore being our left-backs next season.
7) The Verminator has finally had his new cybernetic implants integrated into his systems and will be operating at full capacity next season.
8) It's looking like Lady will have plenty of new material for stories

It would without a shadow of a doubt be a reason to be cheerful (delirious) GunaDave but there's no sign that it's likely to happen. The guy has the raw materials to be a hell of a player but he's just not right in the old cranium.
