I think the lack of comments is caused by everyone else struggling to think of more reasons to be positive.

All I could come up with was that the entire squad would be a year older and therefore a year wiser.

It would without a shadow of a doubt be a reason to be cheerful (delirious) GunaDave but there's no sign that it's likely to happen. The guy has the raw materials to be a hell of a player but he's just not right in the old cranium.
