Alot of people just see his size and appearance and think he is just a meat head DM.... But he has alot to his game. As good going forward as defending. Fierce shot, surging runs and good timing to get into goal scoring postilions.

SAF seems to lap up this sort of player. Unless he has a 2nd loan spell, I could see some cameo roles, next season.

BTW - He is odds on, in my book, to be absolutely hated by certain fans on here.

There are already a few that hate him for no apparent reason, which is why I like to bring him up often.
Also seen people hating Norwood, can never make sense of these things.

Yep, some strange people on here.

Some saying Lingard and Larnell Cole are too small to make it to "UTD level" (their fave phrase). I guess Messi* has passed them by.

* Please note, I am by no means comparing either player to Messi in overall terms.

Speaking of Norwood, he's making noise at Championship level I hear, goals in his last two games and playing well

Macca - have you got the link for Scholes' comments on Tunnicliffe? I'm not trying to discredit what you're saying, just think it would be an interesting read.

Direct quotes from Scholsie MyNani

"Yes, Sneijder's brilliant," Scholes told MUTV. "He's been brilliant for the last year or so with Inter Milan and Holland. I don't think it probably worked out as well as he would have liked at Real Madrid but he's a top player. I'm sure there's a lot of clubs who will be after him if he is available.

"But we've got a lot of young talent as well, people like Tom Cleverley coming back from Wigan, Paul Pogba's another good player and another good midfielder in the youth team set-up."

However, Tunnicliffe, whose energy and drive has already earned plenty admirers at United, is another youngster who caught Scholes' eye before being loaned out to Peterborough - at least until January.

"It's very difficult to single people out because there were that many in that youth team that were brilliant last year," admitted the former England international. "Ryan Tunnicliffe was sensational in midfield every time I saw him.

.

"He has such a physique and presence about him and hunger and desire, which is what you need to go with quality as well.
