Its not a case of it being banded about, it shouldn't be banded about. its a serious disease that causes a lot of heartbreak and to even contemplate calling a human being something like that is disgusting and you should look at yourself and the kind of person you are.

At your meeting, perhaps you ought to get the faithful to come up with an agreeable term for the Chairman. Have a little vote on it, get it ratified by the committee and then publish it. That would prevent comments like some of these.

I have to say the atmosphere at ER would be a darn sight more pleasing were the folk who attend every week, you know the ones, the passionate, genuine supporters, less abrasive.

and for the record, I've trebled my families worth since I took over, so as for 'daddy's money', you'll find it is very much my money ... Daddy grows olives and tomatoes now, living in a house I paid for, part of my property development

let me explain, both my father-in-law, and my mother-in-law have both had this disease and came through it, it was/is a very tough time with all concerned, mentally and emotionally challenging for everybody... I have also had a relative not survive it, though he was a grand old age, but was a great man, and to see him in that way brought me to tears which I had to hide in front of everybody else.

For this term to be used for a chairman of a football club becuase he isn't liked got to me, and brought back some tough memories and times I personally have had to tackle, like so many others in this world. It certainly puts everything else in perspective.

LDL, I only hope you do not have to tackle this in your life time mate, if you do, maybe then you will think about using this awful, distasteful anology for somebody whome you don't like, nor ever met.
