I think Modric would do very well at Man U but honestly can't see him going for two reasons.
Firstly because I can't see Fergie playing 40 plus million for him and rightly so because I personally don't even think he's worth that.
But secondly because I'm pretty certain Modric wants to remain down in London.
In the end though if he does go I'd much rather he went to you lot than Chelsea

I think Modric will end up at chelsea.

Potentially it could go down to what happens with Harry and the England job. If Harry takes it and Modric does what he did last summer do you think you'll be able to hold out for £40m+?

I think Levy has proved he is willing to play hard ball. Modric could pull a Berbatov which worked well for you lot last time. In the end I think whether he'll stay or go though depends on a number of factors.
1. If Harry stays or goes is very important
2. If he does go, then whether we get a suitably big name replacement in to keep him happy
3. Whether we break our wage structure
4. Whether we get Champions League football
Would you want to pay 40 plus million for him though? I like him and he's a fantastic player but I don't think he's worth that much

He's worth 20m at best, anything over that and I'll be having serious words with Gill.

£35m is the max I'd like to be seen used to bring him in to be honest, think he is sheer class though

I'd agree with arab, nothing more than 20m

I think he's worth about 30m, there's no way 20m would ever get him. Its extraordinary how much player prices have been inflated

Lets be realistic here people, if Young and Downing are worth just under £20million then Modric is worth at least £25-30million.

Arab I have to agree with the OP vis-a-vis Park.
Everybody knows that he's been a fantastic servant to the club but I think it's time he moved on because you know yourself that we need better qualifty players in midfield and if the likes of Park leave, it may create more opportunities for the likes of Pogba to get more chances at featuring for the first team.
I would also apply this to Giggs because even though he's got some valuable goals and assists this season, he's a liability in central midfield. I'd be perfectly happy with him being kept on if he was limited to just substitute appearances, but not starting in midfield in important games and not when he's holding other players back like Pogba or even Anderson to some degree.
Modric is a player I've admired for a while now during his time at Spurs. I would love to see him at the club however not for £40 million, that's just crazy money. If we could get him for £30 million then I can't think of any reason why we shouldn't go for him. That's the maximium amount I'd like to see spent on him. If not him, then Martinez or Sahin if they're available.
