Brad Jones - The Story

Long time lurker first time poster and after last night i thought i would share some little known information on Brad Jones after his spell at my team Sheff Wed

http://www.sheffwed.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=34745

He also endured a 7 game spell at Derby, Former Liverpool player and current Derby manager Nigel Clough explained "Brad fits the bill perfectly; he has Premier League experience, Football League experience and - importantly - big game experience. We have some big games coming up between now and May, and he will be our number one in them. But.....

Jones played seven times for Derby County during his loan-spell in the East Midlands. But four of those seven matches were lost and Brad conceded sixteen goals in them. As a result Derby manager and former Liverpool player Nigel Clough decided to put the club's Academy goalkeeper into the first team for the Rams' final Championship fixture of the season at Reading, meaning that Jones was one of the unused substitutes at the Madjeski Stadium.

--------------------

Last night he saved a tame penalty but he saved it no the less but i saw the same frailties i witnessed at Hillsborough for us, he drops weak efforts, his catching is poor, parries into danger, poor in the air, cannot command the area and poor decision making, its all part of the reason at age 30 he has played less than 100 professional club games.

Will Kenny go with Brad or Galusci the kid called back from loan at Hull?

That's in no way an answer to the question he posed, and seems to be a total cop out.

Are Bookies ever wrong?

They have Liverpool as the favs.....why have they done that?

Are they expecting thousands of plastic armchair RS to back Liverpool?

Grater we are entitled to an opinion about the quality of player that you've spent £100M on as that's what yo appear to have a beef with. The fact that on paper at least you should be favourites is a totally separate issue

See, you're confused again, that's not an opinion, it's a question. Do you have an actual opinion?

In answer to your question, yes of course they get it wrong, otherwise we'd all be millionaires.
