I saw him a few times at hillsborough too and was not impressed even at that level, Reina, Doni and Gulasci are all better imo.
We know he's not up to much but hope he can put in a couple of good performances.
Boro fans couldnt believe they got 2.2 mill off of us for him, class signing there Hodgson. And Roy didnt weant him when he was looking for a keeper at West brom
can we appeal Doni's red and use him for the Semifinal, then get Pepe back after?
Think we had to appeal Donis red by 11 this morn in time for the weekend, could be wrong though
It was definitely at some stage today we'd to appeal by, I thought it was 1, but it may have been 11.

You can appeal that all you like it was one of the clearest red cards I've seen all season.

I'm fairly sure he means a tactical appeal, whereby we can use him in the Derby while the appeal is processed before failing.
I remember United either doing it or considering doing it because one of their players got sent off, but if they appealed it, he could've played the next game whilst the appeal was processed.

I know
I don't care if they double his ban for a frivolous appeal
Just use him for the Semi and then Pepe's back.
Anyhow, I'm pretty sure someone on Sky last night said that the deadline for appealing was at some stage today.
I was happy for Jones when he saved the pen after what he's been through and he seems a nice bloke, but he looks an awful keeper.
Then again, it's almost written for him to be a hero vs the bitters.
It would be so pointless to appeal!
99% of the time they fail anyway, and it was defo a red. What happens if Reina gets injured while back, and we have Doni suspended for an extra two games?
Ummmm, we'd use Jones for the utterly pointless league games...
I wouldn't say they are pointless, we all want ahead of Everton!

After Derry's was upheld, what makes you think we'd win an appeal?
True, but I'd rather knock them out of the Cup and finish below them, than get knocked out by them and finish above them.
Our league season has been an abomination, and finishing above Everton wouldn't register that much on my radar - the only mildly irksome thing about it all would be how happy they'd be if they finished above us.
Even at that, though, it would still be quite funny watching them harp on about being slightly less wretched than us over the league season if we had two cups in the bag.

Both myself and redconn have explained that any appeal would just be a delaying tactic, not an attempt to overturn the decision.
>>After Derry's was upheld, what makes you think we'd win an appeal?
we wouldn't. It's a clear as day red. We'd probably even get an additional match ban.
But we could use him this weekend
after that Pepe comes back and it doesn't matter how long Doni's ban is
Dont know much about your other options to be honest, but Moyes will pepper that box with crosses if Jones plays. And Cahill is ready made to take advantage. May get away with it if Agger & skirtel have blinders in the air
kenneth has recalled the 4th choice keeper from loan to Hull.
He will be on the bench Jones will play
Ah sorry, I didn't realise
We could get a free agent player - Dudek anyone?
