Would you mind explaining why you disagree?
From what I've seen he possesses the basic ingredients to be a great midfielder; technique, hunger, drive, performs in the big games, always willing to press, composure, comfortable on both feet, good range of passing. If some United fans thought Cleverly was world class from his 5 games early this season then by that logic Wilshere is the greatest player on the planet. He's a fantastic player and any team in the PL would love to have him.

I personally wouldn't take Wilshire over what we have at the moment. He had one half decent season in a pretty average Arsenal side. For me he needs another one before he can be called anything other than a flash in the pan.

I like Wilshere. I think he's a very good young player with the potential to be England's best midfielder in a few years. He had a successful loan spell at Bolton and a brilliant break through season at Arsenal last season. It was really unfortunate for the lad that he got injured during pre-season because this would've been a big season and summer for him. I've no doubt he would've started at the European Championships because he offers England something different than any of our other midfielders and the arguement about him being lightweight just doesn't hold up IMO.
If he had come through the academy and reserves at United, most of us would be raving about him, in the same way a lot of us do with Welbeck and Cleverley.

Very good young player... Exciting prospect. Not the world class player that Arsenal fans try to make out (yet) and not the overrated player that opposition fans will try and say.

I dont know any utd fan claim cleverly is world class, most ive talked to seem to think hes a good prospect but needs games.
while most Arsenal fans do rate wilshere that highly, just read some of the posts Arsensal fans have put up on this site about him.

After his appearances during pre-season and his first few appearances in the Premier League this season, Cleverley was being touted as the answer to all our problems by some.

Yes my point exactly mate a good prospect but world class after 5 games no one with half a brain would never claim that.
