On the morning of the 3rd March, only two points separated City and United. On the evening of the 4th March, after both clubs had played a game, only two points separated City and United.
The point? The only reason why City had a 5 point lead back at the start of March was because that weekend we played a day before you did.
Just putting it into it's proper context.
