RAFA? yes or no

So many people want Rafa, so don't want Rafa......am for Rafa but don't like the ex managers coming back thingy so am kinda torn. I know Kenny is still here and we are obviously going to support him but the summer looks dangerous for him after the departure of Commoli.

So......If Rafa came back with thses owners backing him....i'll say yes but what do our brothers and sisters say about this......

Rafa could slot back into the club without much disruption. Carra will be moving to get his coaching badges, SG will be an ambassador in the near future. Rafa has learned from his mistakes, and some decisions to take off Torres? that was when Nando was playing with injuries. Rafa did not tell everyone the reasons for his decisions, he always tried to do the best for the club. I don't know of another manager we could attract who would be better than Rafa.

Run in was not the right time. Apologies for that, it was the period where United clawed back your lead.

It pretty much started around mid December. You had a run of around five or six draws in eight or nine games. Something like that, anyway.

We then got our noses in front and pretty much stayed there.

Vidicschin:

What frustrated me most that season was the number of draws we had, obviously, but also how many 1-0 wins you had, often with a late goal. So annoying.

Macheda's late goal against Villa still hurts to this day. That's when I thought that United were just too good.

It started after his ill advised "Rafa's Rant". Huge mistake by Rafa when we were top and after that we had a series of draws and United took full advantage and never looked back. This rant cost us the league, put unecessary pressure on the players

I definately think the rant was a contributing factor, but not for the effect it had on your players, but more so ours. We went on an incredible run afer that.

You drew four of your next six games after that rant. I remember from on the old 606, the next day all your fans, apart from tthe odd one with common sense, were saying what a genius Rafa was.

I thought this might backfire, not least of all because most of his facts were actually wrong.

Vidicschin - At the time we were happy that someone went against Fergie and ignored that most of the facts were a bit misleading but like you said all the rant did was give Fergie his next teamtalk against Chelsea and it did make you a stronger team. We still have a lot of people who see no issue with the rant only because we won at OT when it was too late.

There were a couple of individual errors that led to us drawing a few games eg Benayoun giving away a cheap free kick in the dying minutes v Everton or Lucas giving away a needless penalty v Wigan! That's four points right there... bit of inexperience.

We did push you hard for the title and truth be told besides the first eleven we didn't have as much strength in depth compared to Chelsea or even Arsenal.

Agreed cash!! Rafa never really recovered after that season for me and that's when he demised as a manager IMO!

The handling of the media, alonso and consistent public outbursts cost him his job in the end and this run carrie over in to inter!

I hope he has regain some sense and would like to see him return to management, but not here at the moment! We are keeping all our business affairs mainly private and although we haven't set the world alight, there is still great unity at the club and rafa would be far too unpredictable and it would be very high risk IMO
