If I was gartside I would set a deadline on Cahill going. It seems as though clubs like arsenal are playing the waiting game. Trying to worry us into accepting lower offers. I would say if he has not gone by 30th July he won't be sold simple and insist he signs a new contract so that they don't wait for his last year. He owes us that. He should want the club to get a good fee for him.

I dont think clubs are willing to pay £17 million for a guy whos got a year left and hasnt played international or european football
Two words; Jones and Henderson
I don't agree with the crazy money going around but surely Cahill is a better player than these two?

Wenger is sleepwalking into anarchy. Wenger just needs to go out and buy a centre back to ease the fans' nerves. But if rumour is to be believed that Fabregas, Nasri and Arshavin will leave then when Wenger should be concentrating on defence he will have to buy more top quality midfielders.

Yh but henderson, jones had long term contracts!
Cahill has one year left anyone with business sense wouldnt pay £17 million for an unproven player!
Phil jones i can see why Man utd paid so much for him cause hes a special talent!
I dont understand henderson fee at all same with carroll!

John please spout your boring Fabregas noise on your own board.
Cahill doesnt owe this club anything. I don't blame him for wanting to leave. Not one Iota. If no bid is received for Cahill by the 20th then he doesnt leave. Simples. I think the team fly to that land inhabited by more United fans than Manchester its self (USA) on Saturday so if hes not gone by then Arsenal better pay for his flight back!!!

all knowing how tight wenger is, is and else think that with him letting clichy go, hes goin to need to replace him and with that will he be willing to spend on a center back

I think a dealing won't work because he's only got a year left. The club know for the BIG money, he has to leave in the summer...
I don't want him walking in Jan for £3m or something!
