Roberto Martínez

Any one else think he would do a good job at Spurs.Imo i think he would be perfect for us,Loves playing total football,Good at producing results under pressure also.
I know he is an unknown and not the big name some of us would prefer but look at what he has done at Wigan,Kept them up against all odd,s for the past 2 years,I don't even think Harry would have been able to do that.
He signs players no one has ever heard of and nine out of 10 of them are absolute gems.
Just curious as to other fans views.

i agree with vanderbale, get a bit of consistancy in the top 4 like arsenal and the stadium will eventually pay for itself, we need to build this side up even more and get a top quality manager in the summer.....we can't have levy being strict on his wallet this time, we just can't

Speaking of kee jerk up and coming managers what about the Reading manager?

RRP
Yeah don that's right, no point in having new stadium if we're playing inconsistent levy needs to learn from possible past mistake and get the right person, we need someone that lives for spurs like he does or like SAF does for utd.

This is a ridiculous thread, I am seeing Martinez praised for keeping his terrible side up in the PL with them selling all their best players and having little spending money. Yet Moyes would be a disappointing replacement despite the same thing happening to him, yet he fields a good squad with some quality players and only this Jan got to spend (and not very much).

The position of manager is definitely one in which this club should risk. We cant afford to have 1/2 more bad seasons or we will be out the running for the top 4 for a good while. Managers we need are proven managers with experience at the top, or at least getting the team to the CL places.

Managers I would take at Spurs (who are slightly realistic)

Ancelotti
Hiddink
Moyes (may play Cahill on rep, but is defensively brilliant)

Calm down sunshine

Dont sunshine me boy! This is what I hate about this forum sunshine, look at all the off-topic articles and conversations of here. It doesnt help that we have RRP and his little pals running riot with the smiley brigade, berating any new signing who isnt up to scratch. Then we have Messiah and his tedious racist jokes, oddiY with his daily articles, users betting their user names on football matches and you sunshine, well sunshine sunshine when have you ever contributed anything of worth? You just muck about for 80% of the day when you should be working hard and dare to think you have a footballing opinion that can equate to mine! I have been in the business for 25 years kid and I have forgotten more than you know about football.
