The 'oh woe is me' brigade are out in force today.... but what exactly is so bad?
there is a good 6 weeks left till the start of the season, the players have only just come back to start preseason.
So we have sold a left back that was widely ciritcised last season and havent yet signed any big names.... and?
Wenger stated very clearly last week that we will be most active towards the end of this month. We can only assume that is when Cesc and nasri's futures will have been sorted out and he's had a chance to assess which of the youngsters are ready to make a claim for a first team squad place.
There is no point in having a youth set-up that is the envy of the world if we don't give players a chance.
There will be signings, but lets just wait and see what happens, rather than running traps off about what wenger is or isn't doing, and believing every story in the rags.

Arsene's a one man A-Team - he takes all the leftovers and scrap, and builds a ****ing tank, yeah, get in.
...of course the tank breaks down near the end, with hilarious consequences. And Djourou's running around shouting at Arshavin, calling him a 'crazy fool'.

Wenger needs to sell Nasri now and i'm not just saying this because I want him at United but the longer he leaves it in the current transfer window the less you wil get for him, you'd get £20m easily for him now but if he's not gone by deadline day you'll be lucky to get £7m for him.

Isn't Arsene just being sensible?
OK, Arsenal haven't won much recently, but you still remained competetive while Arsene has handled the transition to a new stadium keeping the club on a solid financial footing.
Arsenal may not win the title next season either but when the FFP begin to bite, arn't Arsenal going to in a very strong position?
Short term it may not look fantastic but long term, Arsenal look in a good place for me.
I'd stick with the manager's viewpoint. There is no one better than him for Arsenal right now
