You say all this but at the end of the day I demand signings NOW!!!!!!!!!!!
agreed...
so much doom and gloom.... we lost an average LB, thats all thats actually happened....
its the 5th of July..... reading some posts today you would think we were in the last hour of teh window and had already lost Nasri, Arshavin, Fabregas and bought nobody
I forget every year how ridiculous football fans can be...
Yep. Impatience is a virtue amongst football fans. People need to stop worrying so much. I doubt they'd give half a **** as much if they weren't on here all day. It can turn even positive supporters into merchants of doom.
That said, if we're short-changed again on the transfer front, taking the ticket price hike into account, then it'll be time to storm Bastille come August. We''ll be the ones eating cake.
hehehe a positive Arsenal fan is something of a rarity these days.
The club will still exist no matter who comes and goes. In fact i think getting rid of Cesc could be the making of Wilshere, as he will be forced to step up to the plate (which is good from an England perspective).
Losing Nasri might be a pain, but why keep a guy that is not committed to the cause. Agree though that you need to avoid selling him to United (my team) as you don't want to actively be helping a rival.

But it isn't the end of the day yet.
Lady illustrates the majority of our fans perfectly - wanting actions without actually bothering about the consequences. Would we rather we went into the market now and splashed the cash, or at least waited to see how the situation with Cesc and Sami turns out before spending some money? What happens if we lose those two and don't have the funds to replace them? Financial prudence is still the way forward.
Spork I agree with you, but tell me what will you say if and when comes the beginning of the new season and we have only signed one new player maybe a CB and thats it.
We do not lose Cesc or Nasri and all other players stay the same. Will you be happy with the squad? Do you think we would be strong enough for a title challenge?
If you believe caught offside were replacing fabregas and nasri with hazard and mata which in my opinion wouldn't be too bad although i don't believe it i can akways dream

It certainly is when you do not have another option...
What have I become!?

A walking, talking stereotype of an Arsenal fan.

It won't happen.
Everyone connected with arsenal has said we will be very busy this summer.
There is no need to panic.
Have to agree with the OP
I suspect Arsene needs to know who's leaving first before making any big purchases.

Eeek. A man who is a Lady is now the stereotype of an Arsenal fan? The club, nay the world, is truly ended.

Yep lets just wait till July and pick up the scraps left...
Arsene's a one man A-Team - he takes all the leftovers and scrap, and builds a ****ing tank, yeah, get in.
...of course the tank breaks down near the end, with hilarious consequences. And Djourou's running around shouting at Arshavin, calling him a 'crazy fool'.
United fan in peace
Wenger needs to sell Nasri now and i'm not just saying this because I want him at United but the longer he leaves it in the current transfer window the less you wil get for him, you'd get £20m easily for him now but if he's not gone by deadline day you'll be lucky to get £7m for him.
