So Moyesie apparently had a meeting with BK to assess the viability of him continuing his role at Everton. By 'viability' he must have meant us progressing (Europe). So there has to be a plan, but does anyone have an idea what that might be? Surely it must have been a discussion on the finances available.
Moyes doesnt seem the type of guy to announce such a meeting, then be willing to accept being told there is no way to move forward. So what was said? Was it purely there is no need to sell unless DM wants to, or is there actually a budget available albeit small?
Personally I think we must sell rodwell if poss, and use the money to give fellaini a contract he can't turn down and a proven striker.
There must be a plan!

I doubt anyone will leave apart from Yak and Yobo.

I think I'm right in saying that Elstone has already said that the Pienaar money was used to service debt.
Just like the sale of Bellfield was.
Vaughan - approx £2m
Yak - approx £3m
Yobo - approx £4m
Gives Moyes £9m to give Fellaini a contract exentsion, buy a covering left back, a quick midfielder and a class striker.
Personally I'd buy N'Zogbia with Yobo & Yak fees and sell Rodwell to buy a stiker although I admit Rodwell's stock is far from high at present.
I'd sell Heitinga also, good centre half but not Premierhsip standard at full back or in midfield.
We can't have a £6m-£8m player on £50k/£60k a week on the bench.

N'Zogbia

Not for me, more attitude than a South Landon wide boy!
But I cant think of anyone else at the moment.
ps, send my landy points in the post

His bad attitude is one of the reasons we could possibly afford him. In our price bracket if you want class, you have to accept damaged goods sometimes. Moyes would sort him out.

Exactly Bluefred.
Somebody of his ability should be going for Young/Downing fees - £20m.
With attitude = approx £10m.
It's a managers job to get the best out of a player and I would trust Moyes.
I want a bit of excitement at Goodison.
Pace. Skill.
N'Zogbia signing would excite me.
He kept Wigan up on his own almost.

He has quality, and DM can be pretty scary
I'd tow the line

Bluefred,
With the greatest respect la, metaphorically speaking, a Kirkby lad once said there's no plan B

I got called a few names for saying this when we signed him...but I'll say it again: Beckford has an attitude. Moyes can handle him it seems...so why not The Zog.
However, I can't see us spending £10M on one player even if it is a bargain

If we sell Rodwell I can Phil

Screaming my head off for two days on this board and tearing my head off for God knows how long.
Someone ought to do something to put us back where we belong.
