There must be a plan!

The only possible plan is to occasionally sell a very good player for a huge profit. Then Moyes does his thing in the transfer market. It's the same model that most clubs follow and we're just about the best at it!

Maybe the meeting involved a Stanley knife and the 2 of them went round slashing he bottom of all the couches in goodison?

All joking aside, there are quite a lot of free transfers on the Market at the moment and the likes of Nigel Reocoker, Jay Bothoyd would be decent players for Everton!

I thought Hitzelsperger and Larsson would have been good signings for us - on freebies. I'm sure Moyes must have other players on the radar. I think we were promised things would be sorted sooner rather than later this year

Everyone in the world knows we have little or no transfer budget. On £65k a week Moyes should be able to work his magic and develop players from the youth/reserves and free siginings.

If he wants £20M a year to spend, he knows he is in the wrong job!

I'm sure your right, but the way Moyes was talking it almost sounded like he would be giving BK an ultimatum, from which you could infer he wanted more than the usual sell to buy. If nothing new was proposed what was the meeting for/ would Moyes have been willing to accept this?

I expect Tevez to sign by the end of the week

Makes me laugh when people bring up Moyes's salary.

He deserves every penny.

I would happily pay extra for my season ticket to keep him as manager.

An ultimatum! How well that would have gone for him.

DM, I need more money Bill

BK, we dont have it David

Pienaar wage covers Fellaini contract extension/improvement (and Yobo and Yak)

Maybe he did give BK an ultimatum. Maybe BK called his bluff.

We'll find out in the next few weeks.

I predict we'll lose Rodwell and get someone like Insom... Insomnia... Inzanzibar... or whataver he's called. The Wigan fella with an attitude.

Yeah maybe we should get Mike Walker back on 10 grand a week, and use the money saved to get Ginola in.

I doubt anyone will leave apart from Yak and Yobo.

I think I'm right in saying that Elstone has already said that the Pienaar money was used to service debt.

Just like the sale of Bellfield was.

Vaughan - approx £2m
Yak - approx £3m
Yobo - approx £4m

Gives Moyes £9m to give Fellaini a contract exentsion, buy a covering left back, a quick midfielder and a class striker.

Personally I'd buy N'Zogbia with Yobo & Yak fees and sell Rodwell to buy a stiker although I admit Rodwell's stock is far from high at present.

I'd sell Heitinga also, good centre half but not Premierhsip standard at full back or in midfield.

We can't have a £6m-£8m player on £50k/£60k a week on the bench.

N'Zogbia

Not for me, more attitude than a South Landon wide boy!

But I cant think of anyone else at the moment.

ps, send my landy points in the post

His bad attitude is one of the reasons we could possibly afford him. In our price bracket if you want class, you have to accept damaged goods sometimes. Moyes would sort him out.

Exactly Bluefred.

Somebody of his ability should be going for Young/Downing fees - £20m.

With attitude = approx £10m.

It's a managers job to get the best out of a player and I would trust Moyes.

I want a bit of excitement at Goodison.

Pace. Skill.

N'Zogbia signing would excite me.

He kept Wigan up on his own almost.

He has quality, and DM can be pretty scary

I'd tow the line

Bluefred,

With the greatest respect la, metaphorically speaking, a Kirkby lad once said there's no plan B

I got called a few names for saying this when we signed him...but I'll say it again: Beckford has an attitude. Moyes can handle him it seems...so why not The Zog.

However, I can't see us spending £10M on one player even if it is a bargain

If we sell Rodwell I can Phil

Screaming my head off for two days on this board and tearing my head off for God knows how long.

Someone ought to do something to put us back where we belong.
